Hello everyone, it's the beginning of a new month, so that means it's time for this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our creations will feature the new pink - Bubble Bath, the returning Pretty Peacock, and Pool Party. I decided on the pastel approach, I began with creating my background with a paper stencil cut using the cloud die from Basic Borders , working from Pretty Peacock to Pool Party and finishing with Bubble Bath towards the bottom of the card, moving the stencil a little each time so as to not have identical clouds in a line. DeleteI just came across your Crazy Crafters Blog contribution from 2015 with the "flip card" using the Wonderful Wondrous Wreath bundle. Do you have a tutorial on how you did that?
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that is a blast from a past creation - this was early on in my Stampin' Up adventure, and I wasn't doing tutorials at this stage. Looking at the card, I think I would have done a partial cut with the die (having the big shot plate only on half of the die - hope that makes sense) then score the fold line to create the flip.
DeleteHello, fabulous cards. Love the z fold snow flake card. I can't work out how the edge was made. There isn't a die in the set to make it how you have. Is that edge/border part of another die set? That's what set it off for me. Looking forward to hearing from you.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day
