Birthday Fiesta #WWYS70

It's time to Party this week with What Will You Stamp?  We are featuring the Birthday Fiesta.   I've used a fun fold to create a "party scene" for the guest of honour (aka llama), using the framelits to cut the banner and streamers in the background.  Even the cactus are cute!  This is such a fun set, it has endless possibilities especially if you combine with the Fiesta Time Framelits. There are many elements to this set, I have only used a portion of the stamps to create my card.  Don't bypass this set if llamas don't appeal, there are sooooo many other stamps to use and create with. Now you have seen my creation come along and join the fun - click here to see all the great projects from the Design Team and to participate in this weeks challenge at What Will You Stamp? Challenge  Thanks for stopping by today, I would love to update you when I create a post! If you would like to receive an email from me when I do  Click Here . You can

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop | Special Guest France Martin

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop, this month we have France Martin or "Frenchie" as you may know of her joining us as special guest.   When scrolling through Frenchie's blog and You Tube tutorials in noticed that Fun Fold cards popped up from time to time, I love fun folds! Now I knew what I would CASE, the problem though...... which style?  I decided to take the challenge of a Z-fold card as I hadn't done one of these before, below is Frenchie's card: Rather than butterflys, I opted to showcase the gorgeous new Falling Flowers  Bundle  from the 2016-2017 Catalogue to decorate my card I procrastinated for quite some time, then just went free for all stamping in Basic black and die cutting the flowers, I water coloured the images using an Aqua Painter then laid them on the diagonal edges and worked on the arrangement,  and oh my!... I am so happy with the result!  H ere is my card I used the full height and width of

What a Grateful Bunch

Welcome back, I made the most of a long weekend by doing some overdue organisation of my craft room, my label machine had quite a workout!  Now I feel so much better and ready to create, but the agony of choice with new products in my room, so I surfed the net for challenges - they are a great source for inspiration when you need the "little push" to get you on your way!  When I saw the Sketch at Just Add Ink it perfectly suited an idea I had for Grateful Bunch, and what better than to fit the Colour Challenge at Paper Craft Crew too!   Without further ado, here is my creation inspired by the above two challenges: There are 8 layers to this card not counting the punched flowers, and I just love layers!  I water coloured the flowers using an Aqua Painter, blending the colours to give more intensity in the centre of each flower, I went over the flowers and leaves with Wink of Stella too. Can you guess my mystery colour?  Below is the combination

Greatest Greetings | #WWYS68

Happy Monday! It's What Will You Stamp? time, this weeks featured stamp set is Greatest Greetings I've chosen So Saffron as the pop of colour as a special Hooray to my daughter who completed her Karate grading for her Yellow Belt - well done sweetie!  I wanted the "belt" to be the focal point of the card, so I lightly embossed the Whisper White background with the Confetti TIEF to add texture, but not take focus off the banner sentiment. Just love how this colour combination turned out! This embossing folder has such a cute party/celebration theme to it and only the outer edges of the card are embossed with the folder, leaving an oval in the centre for your sentiment or image  Swirly Scribbles aren't just circles! - I die cut a large Swirly Scribble, then snipped it to create an oval to fit the edge of the embossing, swirled some gold thread, and mounted my belt/banner over the gap and here you have it!
