Color Fusers Blog Hop August 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! Today we are creating with Darling Duckling, Basic Grey and Basic White. I had the Impressions Abloom bundle on my desk, and when looking at the colours immediately thought of daisies, next I reached for my Fancy Border dies.  I cut the border in all 3 colours and layered to create an extra layer of interest into my design. I simply adore the tiny flowers in the bundle, a great alternative to add and element instead of my signature rhinestones, but I did add a hint of silver bling with some offcuts of ribbon that were on my desk - waste not, not want and my mother always said to me when she taught me dress making! Color Fusers Blog Hop July 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop!  This month, we are creating with Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler and Smokey Slate - colours that are not up the front of my palette if I am honest, so this was a challenge for me! I broke out one of my newest bundles - Impressions Abloom, I was fascinated with the dies, so that became my starting point, lots and lots of flowers and foliage were cut. The dies are made so that you can either cut the stamped images or die cut with detail as I have done for my card. I love layering, so I really enjoyed creating the arrangement with all the die cuts, I finished by adding some bling with jeweled rhinestones and a small butterfly (from Beautiful Butterfly dies). Color Fusers Blog Hop May 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, are introducing the new 2025-2027 In Colors. I decided to feature all the colours on one card, and started to cut matching circles using the Spotlight on Nature dies, the proceeded to make different colour combos using the circles. It was a really fun process and a great way to experiment with the new colours. To be honest, I wasn't sure about Cloud Cover and Secret Sea.... but I've found love for both of these when creating todays card as I saw how they can shine on their own and with other colours.   What I mean my this is that to my surprise Cloud Cover was more blue than grey when paired with Basic white all my itself - my immediate thought was ohhhh baby blue! Color Fusers Blog Hop March 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, we are featuring Petunia Pop, Summer Splash and Peach Pie - all part of the 2024-2026 In Color selection. I decided to use 2nd generation stamping for my design, what I mean by this is that I "stamped off" off on a piece of scrap then applied the stamp to florals - it's a great way to lighten colours when you don't want the full depth of colour direct from the ink pad. I've stamped the smaller foliage onto the card front then on scrap  the large flower arrangement flowers and leaves before die cutting, this gave lots of depth to my design. The main elements are from the Flowers of Beauty bundle , and the heat embossed sentiment is from Sentimental Park . Color Fusers Blog Hop February 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, we have pretty pastels Bubble Bath and Soft Sea Foam with a pop of colour being Costal Cabana.. I went back to one of my Annual Catalogue favourites for this card - Layers of Beauty.  This is a versatile bundle as it includes the Decorative Masks, which make for a simply gorgeous water colour effect. Being the middle of summer and over 40 ° C degrees (104 ° F) most of my flowers are looking a little "crispy", so wanting to see some fresh flowers. I stamped my outline in Soft Sea Foam and added a touch of Coastal Cabana on the end of the flowers for newly blossomed blooms, to my surprise this gave my card a hint of a vintage colouring. After die cutting the arrangement, I cut in half and trimmed a segment of mini blooms so that I could extend the images top to bottom, using dimensions to adhere to the card front. To finish I added a Gold Embossed sentiment and some Gold Twisted Thread. Continue on through t...
