I got some afternoon crafting done today, I've used a variety of items that are set to retire when the new Annual Catalogue launches on May 4th. I created the wreath effect by using 3 die cuts of the same image from Bloom & Grow - you could stamp directly onto your card base, but I chose to use the die cuts so I had more "wriggle room" when it came to placement. The sentiment from Healing Hugs fitted perfectly in the centre of the arrangement.  What can I say, Subtle Embossing Folder, Stitched Shapes & Layered Circles - I am gutted, some of my "go to " items for creation.  If you haven't already, jump over to the Last Chance items now and get these before they are gone for ever. It's been a bit of a strange weekend weather wise, one minute it's sunny, then its cold windy and even rainy.... so when I heard the rain on the roof this morning I decided I would make today a Pajama Day and do some creating. I headed over to my favourite challenge blogs for some inspiration, and have combined 2 challenges for my project today: As soon as I saw the GDP colour challenge I knew I was making a card with flowers, then that was confirmed with the FMS sketch - large flowers with coordinating circles it was! To keep with the pastel colour theme I've used Smoky Slate for my stamping, it worked a treat not over powering the design, and coordinated beautifully with the delicate script from the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper - currently on promotion in the Buy 3 get 1 FREE sale.
