All Star Garden Walk class bundle

Hello crafters, December is here and so is a new bundle from the All Star Design Team. This month we are showcasing the  Garden Walk suite  from the Mini Catalogue. The All Star Design Team not only design a Tutorial Project that’s exclusive but we also each design an additional project to share here for further inspiration. This suite is super versatile with the Modern Garden Stamp Set having a variety of sentiments for many occasions - a must for any stampers stash! My tutorial was for a Christmas themed card, and today I've used a more generic sentiment that could be used for many occasions, not just a birthday. I created the monochrome background using Blending Brushes with Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape - I blended on a full size piece then trimmed to leave a white border on the card base. After stamping 2 images in each colour, I die cut with the second smallest square from the Stylish Shapes dies, the positioned on the cared and adhered with

Color Fusers Blog Hop December 2023

Hello  there everyone, it's a new month, so that means it's time for the Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our creations feature Pool Party, Orchid Oasis and Fresh Freesia..... I'm totally loving the combination! I'm still in need of some Christmas cards, so I created a "cool theme" card using the Christmas Classics Bundle . I must admit, as much as I like traditional coloured Christmas designs, my favourites are creations that feature colours like these - maybe it's because I've never had a "White Christmas"? I started by embossing the background using the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder, randomly adding some Orchid Oasis with a blending brush to bring out the design. Likewise with the die cuts, adding ink to great some depth, before splattering with craft ink for that "snow fall" feeling. All Star All About Autumn Class Bundle

Hello crafters, a new month, means a new bundle from the All Star Design Team. This month we are showcasing the  All About Autumn suite  from the Mini Catalogue. The All Star Design Team not only design a Tutorial Project that’s exclusive but we also each design an additional project to share here for further inspiration. I used the same theme of colours as with my tutorial - a little hint pink never hurt anyone right! To break up the background I added a little a flick/splatter of ink  Adding Bling with the  Oxidized Copper DSP  is super easy ,  and to finish some   Brushed Copper dots. All About Autumn Inspiration Below is a sneak peek of what’s in store with this month’s Bundle. You’ll see my teaser in the bottom left of the image.  There is more inspiration from the Team within this Blog Hop and another twelve designs in the  Bundle this month. Color Fusers Blog Hop November 2023

Hello  there everyone, it's a new month, so that means it's time for the Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our creations feature Garden Green, Real Red and Cherry Cobbler..... for me what came to mind was a mix of traditional Christmas Colours - so out with my Joy of Noel Bundle ! Whilst greens & reds are not "go to" colours for my Christmas designs, I'm sure happy with this card - I do love creating with die cuts and love, love layers, so lots of boxes are ticked for me with this design. I've used the Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder for the background - I did consider swiping with my white ink pad, but decided not to - I might give that a go on another card. The touch of bling with the holly berries are from the Loose Holly Gem & Sequins pack. Christmas Classics with Joy of Noel

Hi there crafty friends! Its pageant day in Adelaide today. After a busy working week I didn't feel like the early start to get a good possie or battling the crowds in the city, so I decided to make a Christmas card from the tranquility of my craft studio instead. I combined that stamped image from Joy of Noel with sentiments from Christmas Classics - these 2 stamp set combine beautifully! I used slightly not traditional colours by opting for a wash to lighten Moody Mauve berries instead of "red" and Pretty Peacock for the leaves. I used the edge of a Deckled Rectangle die to create the Moody Mauve "torn edges" down either side of the card front - a fun alternative to a straight cut. Some Elegant silver twine and rhinestone bling to finish. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.

Color Fusers Blog Hop October 2023

Hello  there everyone, it's a new month, so that means it's time for the Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our creations feature Wild Wheat, Pecan Pie and Cajun Craze..... oh my, so not my normal selection of colours, I could probably say I rarely use these colours at all. So challenge accepted! I decided to apply the colours randomly to watercolour paper, blending ever so slightly, and washing out the colour here and there to create lots of contrast. Then using the Timeless Arrangement Dies cut out lots of element to create the feature arrangement on my slimline card. After stamping over the Cajun Craze panel, I added some bling with gold ribbon and Brushed Metallic Dots to match the embossed sentiment from Layering Leaves stamp set.
