Twinkle Twinkle Star of Light

I'm back with another Christmas in July design today, after all, it's never to early to get prepared for Christmas!   The Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series paper is the perfect backdrop for this Christmas Star, I also added some Metallic Pearls , and wound Silver Metalic Thread around each side of the card for a touch of Christmassy shimmer & bling. A little banner for the sentiment from Star of Light and my card was done, that's 23 days of DSP so far! Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more projects using Designer Series paper this month. White Christmas for Crazy Crafters Blog Hop | Special Guest Jenny Hall

Hello and welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Jenny Hall. You may be familiar with her blog and you tube clips from jennystampsup . Jenny has an amazing gallery of her creations on her blog, I was drawn to the following creation as repeat stamping is a technique on my "to do" list I started stamping snowflakes from Snowflake Sentiments, but then had a light bulb moment when I was die cutting, and instead of repeat stamping I created my project with repeat die cutting! I adore the effect of the stitched framelit around the snowflake, and it was super easy to cut as the Swirly Snowflake die fitted inside the square framelit too - so only one pass in the Bigshot was need to cut each element. I cut mini dimensionals in half and popped each of the squares up for added dimension.  I couldn't help myself - to finish the card I added a little bling by way of Dazzling Diamonds to the sentiment. Take your time to hop all the way ...

Be Merry Banner Card | GDP098

I love a banner card, a simple design yet so effective - so when I saw the sketch for the Global Design Project this week I knew I just had to take part   I was inspired by both Connie Collins and Janneke de Jong's projects, here is what I created: I love how Connie off set her design, and added the corrugated embellishment, and her bows are just gorgeous, and Janneke' use of the Be Merry DSP is fabulous. The Triple Banner punch is a quick way to get perfect banners, I used widths of 2", 1 1/4' and 1". The heat embossed the sentiment is from from Star of Light , it fitted perfectly on the edge of the banner. I wound Gold Metallic thread around my bakers twine to add a little extra bling, and added a cluster of wound thread to the bow before adding my mini sequins and die cut snowflake to bring the whole card together. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.  I would love to update you when I create a po...
