Daffodil Daydream

Welcome back friends, today I've used a bundle from the upcoming Jan-June Mini Catalogue - Daffodil Daydream. The stamp set features gorgeous daffodils, and a cute little butterfly as well as a stunning edge stamp. I just couldn't wait to use them, and the images have coordinating dies, so no fussy cutting, and also has dies that you can cut and create daffodils with out stamping - 24 dies in the bundle in total. After colouring the daffodils with light and dark Soft Sea Foam and So Saffron Stampin Blends I paired the arrangement with a sentiment from the Best Year stamp set (from the Annual Catalogue). I decided I needed another pop of colour so added butterflies coloured with Fresh Freesia and a touch of Balmy Blue, and some Matte Black Dots. The layout of my card was inspired by this weeks sketch challenge at the Global Design Project . Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the prod...

Thanks with Hand-drawn Blooms #GDP 307

Hello crafty friends, this morning I put time aside to get inky and participate in this weeks Global Design Project after being inspired by Madeleine Mrotzek's card I adored the way the Madeleine had used the Thanks & Hello Mini Embossing Folder , so using that element here's what I created: After embossing the circles I stamped and coloured the image from Hand-drawn Blooms, then using Blending Brushes added a light touch of Balmy Blue and Soft Seafoam. To make the circles pop a little more I layer some Basic Grey underneath giving the impression of a shadow. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. To a Wild Rose z-fold

Hello again,  I have one more z-fold card from my class last weekend, this card focuses on using die cut images up your z-fold. I've used the To a Wild Rose Bundle with Petal Pink, Sahara Sand & Soft Sea Foam. After cutting the z-fold base, I stamped and die cut flowers and leaves, then placed then with the card folded flat, positioned them before adhering I used dimensionals to make it easy to pop the foliage under the flowers, I love this effect. Lastly I stamped the sentiment then added some bling with Champagne Rhinestones . If you are interested in the measurements I've used for the card (based on A4 card stock and a Letter size alternative) you can find them  HERE . Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.
