Stampers Showcase | Holiday Catalogue Favourites

Welcome to this month's Stampers Showcase Blog hop featuring our HOLIDAY CATALOGUE FAVOURITES, this is going to be such a fun hop!.... and I'm sure that I will be adding an item or two to my wish list. The Holiday Catalogue is jam packed with gorgeous items, you are bound to find something that takes your fancy. After the agony of choice of what to item from the catalogue to highlight, I decided on the Yummy Christmas Stamp Set - not only can you make great cards (3D even), but also 3D projects, which is what I have to show you today. How stinking cute is this little treat box!!! and it's super easy to make. Start by stamping and colouring your gingerbread house, then die cut 2 additional gingerbread house and a strip of card stock 15 cm long  x 6 cm wide (6' x 2 1/2") - if you want a wider treat box simply change the width measurement.  Then score the strip at 5 & 10 cm (2" & 4'), then 1 cm (1/2")  from each side. Let's Celebrate You on Sunday!

Welcome back! I don't know where time goes, but I do know that I feel so much more accomplished when I have finished a crafty creation! School holidays have begun and I was out most of the day running around organising and dropping my daughter at Grandmas for a few days - they love their time together. I finally managed to get sometime in my craft room this evening and made a quick celebration themed embossed card. I never tire of watching embossing powder "turn" when it is heated - there still an element of wonder as I watch.  To complement the silver embossed images I mounted on a foil edged card, giving instant elegance to the project, and raised the card front with a piece of corrugated cardstock (one of my favourite tips - the corrugated card layer gives lots of support to the card front). Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used

Bloom with Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper #GDP207

Do you love Designer Series Paper? Are you secretly a collector.... you know, the paper is just to petty cut to into? Well, you are not alone there, but here's a tip - it's even more gorgeous when you do chop into the paper and create! This week’s “Bloom & Grow” theme at the Global Design Team challenge , was perfect for me to cut into another sheet of the GORGEOUS Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.  I've combined the floral design with a Delicate Lace die cut and sentiment from Butterfly Gala - I was going to add a butterfly but decided on a Bird Ballad Trinket instead, and I love it! Have you taken of the wonderful Buy 3 Get 1 FREE Designer Series paper sale? Don't miss the sale ends September 30th. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. If you live in Australia and don't already have a demonstrator I'd love love to be yours.
