Sealed With Love | #WWYS101

Welcome to this week's What Will You Stamp?  I am so excited to show you what I have created with the new Sealed with Love stamp set from the Occasions Catalogue.  This set is so much more than just Valentines day, it is fabulous for Anniversaries or just to let someone know how you feel about them; it is also part of the Sending Love Suite, jam packed with coordinating items - DSP, framelits & embellishments! I decided to utilise some of the Suite when making my "Card in a Box" for this weeks project, here it is: The hearts are stamped using Sealed with Love , then die cut using the matching Love Notes framelits  - Bundle together and save 10%. I used strips of Window Sheets to attach the hearts, they are almost invisible so it looks like the hearts are floating. The wood elements are from the Sending Love Embellishments , and the background and side panels feature 2 of the designs in the Sending Love DSP stack . To see all the great

Number of Years | #WWYS100

Woot, Woot happy 100th Challenge What Will You Stamp? This week we are showcasing the Number of Years set - perfect for celebrations as you can use the numbers and sentiment to customise to your event! This stamp set also coordinates with the Large Number Framelits     My first thought was to make a 100 card for WWYS, then when I saw the flowers I changed my mind as I have a special birthday coming up soon, here is the card I have made: This stamp set has a lovely rustic feel with the images, I just love the effect on this card. I traced around the inside of the stitched framelit then stamped my foliage - the stamps being photopolymer makes this so easy, adding the flowers after each stamp of the foliage until I had completed my oval. I stamped off Perfect Plum once before stamping the flowers, and that just worked perfectly! Here is my colour combo: If you have the matching framelits for this stamp set you may be thinking how did I fit Happy Birt

Party Animal #GDP070

I found myself with some spare time this afternoon and pulled together a quick card for this weeks Global Design  Sketch Challenge I looked through my supplies, and when I saw the candles on the Party Animal DSP I knew what I would create. I love the bright colours of the Party Animal Suite, I can't believe I haven't used the Party Animal DSP before! #loveitchopit I cut a strip of the DSP to highlight the candles and stuck to my Whisper White card base. I cut the Emerald Envy cardstock creating a gap to highlight the candles, then white embossed the sentiment from the Balloon Adventures set, and added some enamel dots.  I mounted the card front using foam strips - love this simple card layout, so quick and easy! Supplies for this card: Card: Whisper White, Emerald Envy Ink: VersaMark Additional Items: Heat Gun, Enamel Shapes Items from Party Animal Suite Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop | Special Guest Valerie Moody

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Valerie Moody. It is such a pleasure to be hopping with Valerie, she has lived my dream - being selected to be on the Stampin Up! Artisan team! and now I have the opportunity to CASE - Copy and Selectively Edit one of her creations - Yay! I love how "clean" Valeries designs are, I must admit I struggle with a CAS (Clean and Simple) card, I never know when to stop, and before I know it my card is no longer CAS! I selected the following card to  CASE from Valerie's amazing work: I love how Valerie has stamped the background of this card to give a water coloured effect - I great way to get the effect if watercolouring isn't your "thing". I also like layered effect of the clouds and the balloon. Here is my take on the design: I used the work of Art stamp set to create my background, stamping off once with Soft Sky before stamping on the Whisper White cardstock. I really like this

Love is a Journey

Welcome to our International Travel themed Blog Highlight, you might look at my card and think what does this have to do with Travel? well,... read on for my story  Almost 2 decades ago I moved to Melbourne, Victoria - I had a wonderful promotion at work and it was a fantastic move for my career. But as the months went by, the only thing that was good about the move was my work. I went back to Adelaide for a Wedding, at this event I was on a "date", from there we went to commuting between Adelaide and Melbourne, after 6mths of travel I decided to move back to Adelaide - the rest is history, I have now been married to this wonderful man for over 10yrs. So now you understand how Love is my Travel journey, so lets get into the details of my card - The sending Love suite is just amazing, it includes Stamps, Framelits, DSP and embellishments - everything that you could possibly need! I incorporated Pink Pirouette and Crumb Cake into my colour combination

Love Sparkles with INKspiration for Moon Baby

I've used to fantastic new sets making my card today, and I am over the moon with the result! Both of these stamp sets caught my eye when I first saw them in the 2017 Occasions Catalogue      My colour combination is courtesy of the first Colour  INKspiration Challenge - aren't these colours just gorgeous! I stamped my images using Basic Grey and coloured using my favourite tool - the Aqua Painter ! Iv'e used Wink of Stella on the stars and for some added bling rubbed VersaMark on the edge of the card and added Dazzling diamonds using Heat and Stick powder . Bella and Friends | #WWYS98

It is with mixed emotions that I show my project for this weeks What Will You Stamp? We are featuring  Bella and Friends , the adorable dog themed stamp set suitable for many occasions. I found it very difficult creating this project using Bella and Friends , as just over a week ago I found out that my companion of almost 16 years has a tumour. Cleo's diagnosis was unexpected as she is still alert, active and has her usual appetite, including trying to sneak cat food given half a chance! She has such loving temperament, is still ball mad if you mention the word or spell it for that matter! I still remember her as a puppy, it seems like yesterday, she is so loving and loyal. I had many attempts before I was able to complete my photo collage and there were many tears shed during the process I coloured my images using Watercolour pencils and a Blender pen  to make my "scruffy puppy" look alikes - if there is a burr or a grass seed to be found Cleo
