Simple Stamping on Sunday | Introducing Sweetly Swirled

I can't believe it is Sunday already, where has the weekend gone! I went out of my comfort zone today and did some simple stamping - I'm not good at this, I always want to do more, but today I managed to "stop" before I added elements! I've used the Sweetly Swirled stamp set for this card, it's new in the 2019-2020 Catalogue, I was immediately drawn to the sentiment, particularly the font. On closer inspection, it's a really cute fun set, perfect for this quick fun card. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. If you live in Australia and don't already have a demonstrator I'd love love to be yours.  Stamp sets: Sweetly Swirled  photopolymer stamp set Ink:   Memento Black, Pineapple Punch, Highland Heather Cardstock :  Whisper White, Thick Whisper White, Highland Heather When shopping  remember to use the current Hostess code

Ink it! Stamp it! June 2019

It's the last Friday of the month, that means it's Ink it! Stamp it! time again. This month we are sharing Kids/Male themed inspiration. I will be the first to say male themed cards don't come easy, kid's are a little easier, especially when you have a beautiful stamp set like Leave a Little Sparkle (I can't get enough of that unicorn themed set at the moment) - today I've used Seaside Notions to create an " Under the sea" card. Most males I know like the sea and fishing, and our child has always loved going to the beach, we even started snorkelling  a couple of summers ago, and near the jetty we saw sea horses! To create the raised front I sponged a mix of Mint Macaron, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Pacific Point on a piece of Coastal Cabana, then cut an oval for the peek-a-boo stamped images to be stamped on the Bermuda Bay base. When I was happy with the sponging I embossed with the Swirls & Curls embossing folder then sp

Unicorn Shadow Box

Welcome to this month's Stampers Showcase Blog hop featuring 3D themed projects, this is going to be such a fun hop!  I do love the challenge of creating a 3D project, and this one was.... my first 2 attempts I totally miscalculated the centre where the image would be stamped, it was a total fail, but try and try again, I got the measurements correct and my Shadow Box was created,  I'm so glad a persevered ! I'm really giving this new set a work out, and my rainbow coloured inks too; this is my 2nd project this week featuring the Leave a Little Sparkle stamp set, it's so hard not to use it as it is just gorgeous! I used a 12 x 12 (20 cm x 30cm) sheet of Whisper White card stock to create this Shadow Box, I changed up the dimensions from another project so that I could incorporate the beautiful swirl as a feature on the frame of the Shadow Box.  I sponge a rainbow of colour into the middle of the sheet, then flicked with a little water to crea
