Little Treats Bloom & Grow with CC&S394

Hello November! I made the most of some quiet time this morning and got inky first thing by participating in this weeks CAS Colours & Sketches challenge . I had a number of ideas/stamp sets I though of for this challenge, and finally decided on the rings from Little Treats and sentiment from Bloom & Grow - I think it makes a lovely combination. After lightly marking up my cardstock for even placement, I used a positioning tool to stamp the rings in Real Red, Melon Mambo and Flirty Flamingo (the stamp is a cling - red rubber), then waited for the ink to fully dry before erasing the lines so as not to smudge any of the ink. Then I added the sentiment easily with the photopolymer stamp, to make it really pop I added some clear embossing powder; not only does it darken then ink a little, it gives some shine so that the words became more prominent from the ring images. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this mo...

Wedding wishes with Bloom & Grow

Hello and welcome. Today I'm joining Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop with fellow demonstrators who are all working on building our businesses and having fun while we do it. There are some awesomely talented ladies in this group, so sit back and get ready for some amazing inspiration with a variety of themes. I'm highlighting the Bloom & Grow stamp set today - I'm also trying a new "theory" of creating projects when I break open a new stamp set before putting it on my shelf, as sometimes I find an un-inked stamp  when the catalogue retires. So far so good, this is my second design. I love the simplicity of this card, using the Gold Foil-Edged Cards & Envelopes cards with gold embossed stamping makes for a quick yet elegant card in a jiffy! Now that you have seen my creation, make sure you visit all the other Demonstrators, I know you're going to be so inspired after viewing their amazing creations. Thanks ...

All about Love with Stampin Friends

Hello Friends,wWelcome to the first 2019 Stampin Friends Blog hop. It's great to be back hopping with the group...especially with all the beautiful new stamps and products available in the 2019 Occasions Catalogue, not to mention the Sale-A-Bration, January is a fabulously crafty time of year!  Our theme is month is "All About Love", I immediately thought of hearts, and I was lucky enough to receive my order containing the Meant to Be Bundle just in time to be able to create for this theme - here's my Love inspired creations: I did have a couple of change of plans with the projects, mainly being due to be spoilt for choice with gorgeous heart stamps and oh my.... the coordinating Be Mine heart framelits, so many to choose from. I finally decided on the floral edged heart stamp, as it had a coordinating edge stamp, which was perfect for the gift box in my project. A Diamond Box seemed perfect for this months theme, after all, diamonds are assoc...

Love at first sight with Forever Lovely

Back in November at OnStage, I gasp when I first saw the Forever Lovely Bundle, my friend Rose sitting next to me took one look and said "that set is so you Sue", it went straight on my order list, and today I'm sharing a project using this set, and there will be more samples coming, as I adore this bundle. I started the project simple, stamped the "DistINKtive" hearts twice onto the card stock with Lovely Lipstick (I stamped off once onto scrap so they weren't to over powering on the sentiment), don't you just love how those hearts are stamped with different intensity - that's due to the "DistINKtive" stamp, then added the beautiful sentiment - beautiful in so many ways...the font, the words, just lovely. I couldn't stop there, me being me, decided it needed a little bling, so I added a touch of Frost White Shimmer paint to the hearts, then I decided I really wanted to make it pop, so trimmed down to 7 cm x 11.3 cm and ...
