Totally Trees | #WWYS88

It's that time again, What Will You Stamp? and this week we are showcasing Totally Trees.  There are so many options of what you can create with this set - it has images as well as stamps to create a coloured background, and as it is a  photopolymer set  it is so easy to line up where you are stamping.   I've created for a Christmas themed card as I know that special day will be here before I know it!  It's no secret that I love layers in my projects, and today's is not exception. My project today was super easy, and it came together in no time at all - layers are a great way to give a simple card a little wow factor. This card would be a great project to make in bulk for cards to give to work colleagues or teachers at school. Here is what you need to make this card: Card base: 9.9 cm x  19.8 cm, then folded in half Layer 1 : 9cm square Layer 2: 8.5 cm square Layering Ovals Framelits Dies Totally Trees Stamp set Sentiment of your choice -

Cookie Cutter Halloween | #WWYS86

Welcome to What will you Stamp, this week we are showcasing the fun Cookie Cutter Halloween set! Halloween isn't a huge celebration in Australia, but my daughter has been asking questions and made mention of celebrations a few times, so I decided that this year I would prepare some treat bags for the occasion - I am so glad I decided to use this set, it is adorably cute, so much so it's hard for me to pick my favourite! I made the treat bags using the brown paper that our Big Brown Boxes are packed with, woo hoo recycling! I cut them using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies , my daughter planned the stamped image to co-ordinate with the cookie cutter image, then we popped some treats in, folded the top and bound with bakers twine - too cute! I used white embossing powder for skeleton, and threw in some Pumpkin Pie for the background and treat bag stamping Tuesday night is mummy-daughter movie night with takeaway dinner, recently we watc

Paisley and Posies - the journey begins

Don't you just love trying a new stamp set for the first time! I've finally had a chance to break out the Paisleys and Posies Bundle, and I am so impressed, dare I say it,..... it may just be my new favourite! I couldn't pass up the Colour Challenge this week at the Global Design Project ,  likewise with the awesome sketch at Freshly Made Sketches Challenges are such a good may to open you mind to create, they can can also give you the gentle push step outside your comfort zone, whether it be with colour or layout - both of these challenges grabbed my eye, I adore the colour combination, and love layering so I was in my element! I changed the layout a tad, moving the banner element to the side so that the lovely paisley flowers could feature vertically, I combined 2 stamps to create the feature with the lovely sentiment from the Paisleys & Posies Bundle I decided to use Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder  for my stamping, how amazi

Foxy Friends Shadow Box

I just love the Foxy Friends stamp set, and love creating 3D projects  like this - so why not combine both of these to create a special card!  The Endless Birthday Wishes  set is fantastic for a variety of sentiments, I think the font is a perfect accompaniment for Foxy Friends .At first glance this looks like a normal card, but wait it so much more! Can you see that the middle section is a 3D frame: Here is a better view, how adorable is this! It is like the photo frame but made from card stock. I've also used the A Little Foxy A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper Stack  on the inside of the card. This Shadow Box card was inspired by Juana  and Kim's  creations - click on their name to see their projects. I came across Seize the Birthday challenge blog in my travels, and this card is perfect for this week's "anything goes" challenge I would love to update you when I create a post! If you would like to receive an email from me whe
