Color Fusers Blog Hop April 2024

It's time for this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our colors include Parakeet Party, Granny Apple Green and Calypso Coral - straight away I thought of flowers, and decided to use the soon to be retiring Two-Tone Flora stamp set. I used a Blending Brush to colour the background, and used one of the Basic Border Dies to create the "banner look" at the bottom of the panel. I used 1st and 2nd generation stamping for the flowers to create the two tones, and daubers to ink the based of the leaves in granny Apple Green and the tips in Parakeet Party. Color Fusers Blog Hop August 2023

Hello everyone, it's a new month, so that means it's time for the Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our creations feature Pebbled Path, Boho Blue and Misty Moonlight. I decided to utilise a design from the Countryside Inn DSP to capture the blues, and added contrast to the floral with stripes of Pebbled Path to the edge of the card. The flowers are stamped with Boho Blue using one of my favourite sets, Two-Tone Flora . Combined with elements from Darling Details and the sentiment from Love For You completed my design. I thin this combination of colours would look fabulous with just a hint of pink too - I was so tempted to add just a highlight of Bubble Bath, but I resisted and finished with the Rhinestones. Color Fusers Blog Hop May 2023

Hello everyone, it's the beginning of a new month, so that means it's time for this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, is all about the new 2023-2025 InColors! There is also a colour refresh, so lots of new colours are on there way, but today I am super excited to try out Moody Mauve, my favourite from this group. I've done 2 tone stamping so you can see first and second generation colours of Moody Mauve using the Two-Tone Flora stamp set, as well as blending the ink on to Moody Mauve cardstock using a Artistic Mix Decorative mask . As you can see Moody Mauve is stunning in both a pastel (2nd generation stamping) as well as full depth. I've combined with Basic Grey...... I may have done a booboo with my pre-order and missed Pebbled Path; but based on the sample of Pebbled Path I have, it would be perfect companion for Mood Mauve  To finish I added "thanks" from Sentimental Park , and some Basic Rhinestones for just a touch of bling. Be su...

Color Fusers Blog Hop March 2023

It's time for this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our colors include Blushing Bride, Soft Sea Foam and Mint Macaron - straight away I thought of flowers, and decided to use the  Two-Tone Flora stamp set . For the flowers I've used a mix of first and second generation stamping along with Copper Embossing which I think is the perfect accompaniment to Blushing Bride, then die cut an arranged along the edge of the of the card front with the Mint Macaron and Soft Sea Foam foliage. You can really see the Copper Embossing shine in the above photo, with the Blushing Bride it I think looks like Rose Gold! I added a thin strip of Soft Sea Foam under the arrangement then adhered to the card base, adding the sentiment from the  Something Fancy stamp set  before finishing with some Brushed Metallic Dots . Color Fusers Blog Hop February 2023

It's time for this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our colors include Calypso Coral, Pale Papaya and Balmy Blue - straight away I thought of 2 tone flowers, and so why not take a pun and use the Two-Tone Flora stamp set . I used a mix of first and second generation stamping with 3 different floral design, and the Something Fancy bundle for the sentiment and central die cut. I had some left over "foliage" on my desk from another project which used the Forever Flourishing  dies and it fitted perfectly to balance the design on my slimline card. I've really enjoyed using masks (or stencils) for backgrounds lately, I just adore all the patterns in the Artistic Mix Decorative Mask s pack, this time I created a checkered background with Balmy Blue to finish out this months Colours.
