"Thank you for joining us for our FIRST "Enjoy the little things in life - Design Team Video Blog Hop". We are going to be giving you inspiration once a month that will help you to be more creative and give you some great ideas and tips. We have an incredibly amazing team of demonstrators from around the world that are part of this hop once a month." This month we are showing off projects made with products from the new Annual Catalogue, I'm showing off the gorgeous floral stamp from Wood Words and 4 of the new 2017-2019 In Colours I stamped the flowers using the stamp-a-ma-jig so that I could decide where I wanted to place the image, it is such a cool tool!  So much so that I decided that I would create a tutorial of how I used the stamp-a-ma-jig it to create these double stamped images. Wood Words is available in wood and clear mount,.... I normally order clear mount, but in the early hours of the morning when I did my pre-order I m

Crazy Crafters Annual Catalogue Sneak Peek

Hello and welcome to the Crazy Crafters Annual Catalogue Sneak Peek, we have lots of our pre-order creations to show you! I have never really thought of myself as a flower person, but in the past year have come to realise that I really enjoy creating projects with the lovely floral designs that Stampin Up! as to offer, so today I'm showing off my mini cards using Daisy Delight I fell in love with the wood crate in the new catalogue, I just had to make one! Next task was to make some little cards for it. I usually look at a stamp set and think of what I want to create, not this time, I just started stamping! I knew I wanted to blend the 3 new shades of pink in the 2017-2019 In Colours, so I just played! After that I just continued with different stamps and sentiments, and before I knew it I had these 4 gorgeous mini cards.  My favourite is the single pink daisy (hahaha, what a surprise),  I used dazzling diamonds in the centre, I really like the pop it adds

Flourishing Phrases | #GDP088

So glad the weekend is here, I've had a busy day and have also managed some crafting, yay! I opened Flourishing Phrases for the first time joined in this weeks Global Design Challenge as it was the perfect opportunity to play with my new floral purchase! Flourishing Phases has been on my wish list for sometime, there are only a few days left that you can purchase Flourishing Phrases as a bundle, as of June 1st the stamp set and coordinating framelits will still be available, but not as a bundle - I love bundles, who doesn't love saving 10% Here is what I was inspired to create from Shawn's beautiful card: I used my markers as well as sponge daubers to colour my stamp and die cuts - I love the effect of the sponge dauber for blending inks, one of my favourite techniques.  I lightly curled the diecuts with my bone folder to give them more dimension when layered on the card Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.  I

2017/18 Annual Catalogue Sneak Peek

Hello and welcome to the Aim for Alaska blog hop... his special themed hop today for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who are in a training program "Aim for Alaska". The program aims to provide training, inspiration & tasks focused to push you out of your comfort zone to aim higher and reach out for your goals and it includes many opportunities to listen to amazing demonstrators from around the world. Our hop today will showcase the items we have already been able to order as demonstrators, so you get a fantastic preview of what is available on June 1st! I've made a quick and simple card today to show how amazing the new Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper is.... If you are anything like me, there are just times when there are not enough hours in the day, and whilst I would love to lock myself away in my crafting area and stamp to my hearts content, there are pressing commitments that I need to attend to - but I need my creative balance, so t

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop | Special Guest Nadine Köller

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Nadine Köller. Nadine's blog had me mesmerised... clean and white themed cards really appeal to me - yet I don't make them often, funny that!  After a cup of coffee whilst viewing Nadine's gorgeous projects I decided on the below card to CASE - Copy and Selectively Edit I love the background effect, and especially the colours,  and how there is a hint of the stamped design, however the randomness (is that a word?) of the technique freaks me out as you can't really control how your pattern will look - anyway, I've stepped out of my "control" zone and given this technique a go I chose Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sugarplum for my colours, I was a little bit heavy handed with amount of ink I applied to the watercolour paper with the cling wrap, and I was freaked out! (hahaha), but I walked away and left it to dry - I was pleasantly surprised when I returned, the colou

Celebrate with Ink it! Stamp it!

I'm so excited to be part of the first Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop. This month we will be sharing "Celebration" themed projects, I'm sure you will be inspired by what we have to show you. My project was made as a special request, it took quite some time, but the end product is so worth it! The theme requested for this Birthday box was "Bling" and Turquoise - I had lots of fun with glittler!  I used lots of products completing this Birthday Box, I got quite carried away!  The Birthday Blast Stamp set and Star Blast thinlets worked a treat, and Birthday Bright had the perfect Celebrate sentiment. The Number of Years set is fabulous to personalise birthdays and anniversaries too. I couldn't believe how mammoth this was to create, but when you think about it, the inside of the box alone is 8 card fronts! I adore how the shading came out on the Balloons. Here's a close up of the stars in the centre piece I made litt

Stampin Friends Flowers & Sympathy Blog Hop

Hello, welcome to the Stampin Friends blog Hop! This month we our theme is Flowers and Sympathy. We also have Lori Schaefer Mueller joining us as a Guest Hopper, welcome Lori.  I'm sure that you will be inspired by the projects we are sharing - make sure that you work you way through the entire Hop by clicking on the names at the end of my post so that you don't miss at thing. I decided make my projects using the Rose Wonder Set, it is a wonderfully elegant stamp set and has matching Rose Garden framelits. I die cut the rose framelit multiple times and layered 2 very vanilla cuts together, then repeated, snipping off the leaves just leaving the rose and offset slightly, I decided to a lower layer in Sahara Sand which gives a deeper shadow effect. I stamped the matching stamp and created a hexagonal box to package a scented candle in a jar. You are currently on my blog - Sue Vine - Miss Pinks Craft Spot, check who is below

Vertical Greetings | #WWYS116

Welcome to this weeks challenge at What Will You Stamp? This week the set we are playing with Vertical Greetings . This set is interesting as the name suggests, the sentiments run vertically rather than the normal horizontal direction, once you get your head around that, this set makes for some stunning cards!  It's almost winter here in Australia, so many of the trees are showing lovely autumn/fall colours in my district, that was the inspiration for my cards today. I created two projects today, a simple stamped card then a "stepped up" card with embossing and layering. I my first card has a shorted card front with the sentiment stamped on the inside of the card - I stamped first then worked out how much to trim off the front of the card - it gives a unique look compared to a normal card, but is still only a 1 layer card. I used a sponge dauber with Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sugarplum to create the multi coloured leaves on my topi
