Ink it! Stamp it! 3D this month!

Welcome to this month's Ink it! Stamp it! 3D themed blog hop - I LOVE 3D cards and projects, they are so much fun!  I've been getting in the Easter theme this week, so decided to create a 3D Easter project for you. I've been super busy this week, so rather than "re-invent" the wheel so to speak, I utilised Clear Treat Boxes to create today's project. I dressed up the bottom of the box my cutting the "grass" using the Basket Builder Framelits - they fitted perfectly folded in half, here's a view of the back of the box: You can also see in this picture that I created a "mounting" square for the chocolate eggs and bunny, here's what it looked like before I folded it to fit in the box: I cut a 2 1/2" square, and scored at a 1/4 on all sides, then cut 2 circles with the 3/4" punch and used the smallest layering oval framelit - the intention wasn't to make a face, but it did put a smil...

Stampin Dreams - Happy Easter

Amazing how time goes by so quickly, it wasn't long ago it was Christmas, then School started and before we know it Easter will be here! Have you started to prepare?  I've taken advantage of this months Stampin Dreams Easter Theme to get ahead with some of my Easter preparations by creating this card: The Picnic with You bundle was just perfect for creating the basket, not only is it stamped, but there is also a framelit that creates texture on the woven basket, just like an embossing folder, but a metal framelit- how kewl is that! The eggs are created using the smallest plain oval form the Layering Oval framelits , and poked them into the basket, creating depth by adding dimensionals. Thoughtful Banners  stamp set and Duet Banner Punch came in handy for the banner for the sentiment, and don't you just  love the effect of the  Polka Dot Basics Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for the background, it's too cute! Party Pandas | #WWYS154

Welcome back to a super fun week at What Will You Stamp? We are highlighting the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Party Pandas This set has it all, it's fun, cute, adorable, and best of all it's FREE, yes that's right,  you can earn this for free during Sale-A-Bration! Being that it is early February, I thought I would create a Valentines themed card featuring the adroably cute panda holding a letter of love, here's what I created: I've used a the Eclipse technique and off set the layers slightly on the panda, I really like this effect.  To create my sentiment used the scripted font from Tabs for Everything, and then die cut from the Celebrate You thinlets (another Sale-A-Bration freebie) and some die cut hearts from the Picnic Basket Builder Framelits.  To make the really pop I used my fine tip glue pen and applied a layer of glue, not only does it give a lovely shiny finish, but it also adds dimension.
