Stampers Showcase Blog Hop **OCCASIONS CATALOGUE **

Welcome to this months Stampers Showcase, it's all about the Occasions Catalogue - there are many, many gorgeous items it the catalogue, something is bound to take your eye. Today's creation is a bit "bitter sweet" for me, I fell in love with the Parisian Blossoms suite when I saw it, and not because of the flowers (and they are "my thing"), no it was the Eiffel Tower.  Long story short, my husband & I never had our honeymoon - purely due to circumstances just before and after our wedding. Anyway late last year we decided that we would do a special holiday in 2020 - 8 weeks  in Europe infact! We had planned to be in France on my Birthday and Paris on our anniversary. It is a few months away, but as we can't even leave our state, let alone Australia currently, a lot will need to change in the world before we can leave our shores, and I'm not sure it will happen before our flight is due to depart, my fingers are crossed (legs, an...

Parisian Beauty goes Chic

The first week of March is almost over, so that means it's time for the All Start Tutorial Blog Hop, and this month we have more to show you from the Parisian Blossoms Suite. I will be the first to admit this card is not my usual style, Shabby Chic with its rough edges I something that I admire when I see projects, but not what I can usually achieve! But, I went where I don't normally go, it started by experimenting with the Embossing folder, applying VersaMark to the folder then embossing the card stock and then adding Copper embossing powder, and WOW, I was in love and the Shabby Chic idea came to life before my eyes. Some layers, ruffled edges and torn edges, "splodge" stamping with spritzed splatters later... my project was finished! Continue through the list below to see more creations from the design team: Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Need more inspiration for the Parisian Blossoms Suit...

It's a crazy thing called LOVE with Stampers Showcase

With Valentines Day fast approaching our Stampers Showcase theme this month is ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE. My project is a look at the city of Love..... Paris - I'm going to be there later this year, and on my wedding anniversary!  We didn't get to have a honeymoon, so the next best thing is to be there on that special day a number of years later, I'm so looking forward to it. I started by stamping the Eiffel Tower, and using the stamparatus positioned the line of  fleur-de-lis. Next I stamped the sentiment on Real Red, then layered on a piece of Basic Black that I'd cut with the Delicate Lace dies. I wrapped Silver thread around the bottom of the Real Red 3 times and created a bow, then adhered to the card base. I cut 2 Amour sentiments and adhered together before attaching to the card front and lastly added some Rhinestone Jewels. Next on the hop is  Stephanie Nash  from Canada, click on the icon below to be taken to her b...

I'm in Love!.... Introducing the Parisian Beauty Bundle

Welcome to the ESAD Mini and Sale-a-bration Blog Hop. We're so excited to share our creations with you and we're certain that you will find great tips and inspiration from all our creations. The full lineup below will help you move along the hop, so grab a cuppa and enjoy! Well, what can I say...I'm in Love! The Parisian Beauty Bundle is just amazing.... I have so many ideas running around in my head for this set it's crazy, I have partially completed projects all over my desk, I finally knuckled down and completed this one to share with you today. This is my first attempt at a "DL" size card too, and I must say, I quite like the tall and skinny proportions of this card size. II wanted to use the new Champagne Rhinestones, so I I decided  on a Petal Pink and Crumb Cake colour combination. The background was stamped using the Stamparatus, so easy to get consitant spacing by just moving the plate a notch, and of so effective. I ...
