Hello crafters and welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Mini Catalogue Blog Hop - we have so much to show you from the January to June 2022 mini catalogue, lets just jump right in. One of the first things on my wish list...who an I kidding, my MUST have list, was the Butterflies & Flowers  Layering Decorative Masks . I was fascinated of how the layered masks would work and what I could do with them, and I am happy to so I was not disappointed at all, in fact, I am over the moon with this product. This card would be suited for an avid or intermediate crafter that really likes the masking technique . I started by using Blending Brushes to apply the base colour of the butterfly in Mango Melody fading to So Saffron with a little Soft Suede around the edge, then using the other portion of the butterfly mask added the detail of the wings with Cinnamon Cider , taking care to use scrap paper to mask of the white space on the card. Happy New Year crafty friends! Today I have a great hack for stencilling using the Stamparatus.  For the best stencilled image we want to hold our stencil in one place, so why not use the Stamparatus to do this!!! This hack/technique worked a treat creating the rainbow stencilled background, I started with the magnet in the lower corner and moved to the top right during the stencilling process to free up the bottom corner for applying the ink. I used Magenta Madness, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana and Fresh Freesia for my rainbow. The sentiment is from Biggest Wish , and is cut with a Stitched Rectangle die with the underlying banner using the small banner from the Tasteful Labels dies. Welcome back crafty friends, I'm back today with a technique that you are bound to love - using Blending Brushes with Decorative Masks (or you may refer to these as stencils). I had a few weeks with "lots of life things" - school holidays, reacting to my Covid injection (I was feeling really unwell for a number of days, I'm all good now) and a trip to the emergency room for my husband (a bit of a scare, things should be under control now he has medication and is being monitored) - so I have been a bit all over the place, last night I had a clear head decided to refocus on my creativity and get into my "happy place". I had a some items from my last order that I hadn't tried out - the Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks were just calling out to me. Have you ever forgotten that you have something in your craft stash..... well I'd totally forgotten about that I had Pattern Party Decorative Masks until I went through all my die cut folders, and found the Masks package! I've used them a few times, mostly with embossing paste, then when I was looking at my retiring stamp sets I saw the Follow Your Dreams Bundle, and the rest is history, here's my creation: I used stencil brushes to apply the ink (only because I have them), but you could just as easily sponge the ink or use really soft think paint brushes for the same effect. I started by lightly applying Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody and Coastal Cabana to Shimmery White cardstock.
