Last day of Sale-A-Bration! Last chance for Lots of Lavender

How time flies, I can't believe it is the last day of this years Sale-A-Bration event!   I found these half completed cards this morning, and quickly finished them to show you the gorgeous Lots of Lavender set - it is a 2 step stamp set, the first is the outline, the 2nd being beautiful watercolour like stamping, and being photopolymer it is super easy to line up and achieve stunning results. I've used Powder Pink and Perfect Plum with Old Olive for these 9.9 cm note cards, and I couldn't go past the sentiment from One Big Meaning - I think it is my favourite thank you sentiment.  I got a little adventurous and added a "ruffle" with Finely Woven Ribbon behind one of the sentiments, I'm still deciding which card I like best - what do you think? Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.  I would love to update you when I create a post! If you would like to receive an email from me when I do  Click Here . Love it! Chop it! 2 for 1!

I've gone way outside of my comfort zone today, not only have I cut into a lovely piece of Sweet Soirée Specialty Designer Series Paper into 6 ready for card fronts, but I also cut one of these pieces so it would make 2 cards, that's way over the top for me cutting into DSP!   How beautiful did these cards turn out, and all by cutting into DSP! I did have a little "moment" when I die cut the scalloped edge with the Seasonal Layers thinlets , thinking oh no, what have I done! I dressed up the scalloped edge by adding cutting another scalloped edge and applied silver embossing powder, carrying the them of the silver foil to the decorative edge, and also embossed the sentiment from Flourishing Phrases - I love silver and pink as a colour combination.  Lastly I added Old Olive Mini Chevron ribbon. I used the smaller Hello sentiment from Flourishing Phrases within the scalloped edge in the 2nd card, and used the Simple Stripes embossing

Enjoy the little things Video Blog Hop | Repeat Stamping Technique

Thank you for joining us again for our "Enjoy the little things in life - Design Team Video Blog Hop". this month we are all showing you a technique. I'm sure you will pick up inspiration from the Design Teams creations, as well as some great ideas and tips including videos that will help you to be more creative.  My creation today uses Repeat Stamping - this  technique can be used for many creations - I've used it to create an oversized Double Slider Card, oversized as I needed to fit 50 candles on the card! I repeat stamped the 50 candles using the Stamparatus using the Picture Perfect stamp set, this time featuring Lemon Lime Twist, Island Indigo & Tranquil Tide for my base colour theme, here is what the card looks like fully extended: You may have seen my original  card featuring pink candles back in late February, I had lots of requests for a video of how to make the card, so here it is! It does take a while and there are a fe

Bird Banter | #WWYS161

Welcome to this week at What Will You Stamp? We are showcasing the Bird Banter set from the Occasions Catalogue: This set has lots of cute bird images and sentiments with "puns", I have seen many creations with this set that make me smile. I grew up in a household with a pet Budgie - Fred, well there was actually 3 Freds, all different but all really fun in their own way, and my daughter has a budgie called Happy - he is one crazy bird that gets up to all sorts of mischief! So with all that my first thoughts were to create a budgie card, but no matter how long I looked at the stamps, a card image didn't appear with a budgie, but here is what did come into my head:  Not quite what you would be expecting from a set called Bird Banter ! not a bird to be seen! But I do really like this card, it would be great for any recipient, and it also has a fun festive feel to it. I used the masking technique to layer the balloons and the edge of the S

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop | Special Guest Cathy Caines

Welcome to today's Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Cathy Caines from St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada - an island in the Atlantic Ocean filled with whales, icebergs and puffins! Cathy is a member of the Artisan Design team, her blog " In the Cat Cave " is full of amazing projects that are bound to inspire you. As a Crazy Crafter, our task is to CASE (copy and selectively edit) one of Cathy's creations, I decided on the below card, as just like Cathy I too was a Display Stamper in November My presentation and display stamping was for the Sweet Soiree product suite , so I thought it only fitting that I use the suite for my CASE, here is what I created: I used DSP for my background, and changed up the feature from a stitched shapes square to a circle, and added a pop of colour featuring Calypso Coral, with a dash of Powder Pink to compliment the Old Olive stripes, and adding a touch of bling with  vellum/silver foil die-cuts fr
