I've discovered an amazing way to use the Ombre Stampin' Pads!  Check this out What a great effect the Ombre Stampin' Pad gives these Christmas trees!  I added my customary bling in the way of Dazzling Diamonds for snow touched effect on the trees. Ever have the crafting bug, but just don't know what to make? I was like that so I re-visited some Pinterest Pins for inspiration. I loved Narelle's take on Freshly Made Sketches challenge #209 - I haven't used the Peaceful Pines set for a Christmas card this year, so I went and dusted it off, here's my project: This rustic sketched tree from Peaceful Pines  is my favourite, I've used it alot, it creates a lovely effect when using multiple trees. I just adore the little snowflake stamp to create the background, it is so delicate.  My colour theme is courtesy of Fancy Frost Sequins - why re-invent the wheel when Stampin Up! has given us such a wonderful colour combination! Whilst not traditional Christmas colours I just love the cool frosty feel with a pop of pink.  My shaker window was cut with the largest of the Perfect Pines  framelits, then I stamped the rustic tree image behind the shaker cut out and applied Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glit...

Welcome back, I am just loving the Curvy Keepsake Box - just perfect for a special "Thank You"      I have been making gift boxes for small thank you gifts, I managed to fit 5 Cadbury Roses into the box, just enough for that "sweet treat".  I created the window using the smallest Christmas tree framelit from the Peaceful Pines bundle, and used the little baubles to stamp the box to create my own design.  The sentiment is from Flurry of Wishes - I carefully applied the 2 different colours to the separate words, trimmed with the Triple Banner punch, then layered on top of trees cut using the Peaceful Pines framelits. I just love the versatility of the Peaceful Pines Bundle, so many options to decorate trees of different sizes The inspiration for today's card comes from the Sweet Sunday sketch challenge I originally chose one of the other stamps for this card for the larger tree, but I forgot to use my embossing buddy, and when I put the powder on the sentiment I could see that detail wasn't clear; so I salvaged the tree by layering the smaller tree on top, you can just see the edge of original stamping.  The smaller tree has the trunk t rimmed off and embossed with the gorgeous Christmas  lights stamp - I really love how this turned out, funny how a "disaster" can turn into something wonderful! The gold circle is also embossed, and the snowflakes are from the Softly Falling TIEF.  The sentiment is from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set - again, your embossing buddy is a must for this, hard to believe it can make such a difference, bu...

I decided to venture a bit outside the square for Merry Monday's Christmas Challenge this week!  How cute is this stamp from the Peaceful Pines set for a treat box! I have been wanting to give my Peaceful Pines bundle a workout, but just hadn't found inspiration, but then I found a fab  tutorial  for a gift box made using the Simply Scored, saw the "Oh, Christmas Treat" stamp and I had my project! I made a 2 different sized gift boxes with the 2nd being embossed with the Softly Falling TIEF and gold embossing powder; 2 different looks for the same project!  It is really easy to change up the size of the gift box depending on the size of you gift. I visited Merry Monday this morning and saw the current challenge and just had to give it a go! Below is the inspiration for this challenge - I thought I would give sponging a try for this challenge, after all rainbow is the theme and rainbows have that lovely blending of colour when they appear in the sky. I decided to use a tree from the Peaceful Pines stamp set; using the edge of the stamp pad I carefully put a small segment of each of the colours listed below and stamped onto Whisper White cardstock.  I re-stamped using Versamark, applied Heat  power to attach the Dazzling diamonds.  I used the Softly Falling TIEF, then sponged each of the colours, applying slighly heavier on the edge of the cardstock, I used the same process again to apply a light coverage of Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.  The sentiment is from Petite Pairs.
