Relax! the weekend is upon us! I thought I'd have some more fun with DSP from Pampered Pets suite. I decided to off set my mats on angles to make things look a little bit more "crazy & out of control".  How cute is the little guy who looks like he has just been startled, not at all unlike my Rimmer (he's a bit skitzy as our Bengal doesn't really like  him) Did you see my cards from earlier this week along the same theme? Hello again, yes I was on a roll so I created another pun, this time featuring a dog from the Playful Pets DSP. This time I used a slimline style card, and I also include a dog on the inside (we had a German Shepherd many years ago, she was an amazingly "heart bigger than her head" loving dog, and this image reminded me of her. I used the "Nothing's Better Than" stamp set again for the sentiment too - there are so many to choose from, there may even be some more of this style card coming in future! Some fun with a pun today, I've combined a sentiment from "Nothing's better than" stamp set and an image from the Playful Pets DSP with some help from Playful Alphabet dies. I felt like a change from flowers, and looked at some sets I haven't used for a while, then saw my DSP pile just looking at me saying #loveitchopit. I'm partial to cats, this one reminds me of our Ragdoll, Cinder as he stretches out making himself comfortable - oh to be a cat some days and get comfy and have that perfect lazy day..... pretty much most of his days as he's now older and is always found in a cozy place unless it's time for food! I cut the letters in Flirty Flamingo, Playful Alphabet is just fabulous as it has extra common letters, so I had 2 "R's" so everything was cut in one pass in the die cut machine. Hello! it's Monday......boo... but I have a treat for you - yay! Pampered Pets for this weeks  Just Add Ink  - Sketch Challenge . I had a couple of ideas come to mind for this sketch, but I didn't feel like fussy cutting, so instead used the die to cut the dog from the DSP (how cool is that). To not waste any precious doggy images, I first cut around the dog, then used the die - not all the images have a die to cut them, but I will take what I can get when I'm not in a fussy cut mood! Then I cut 3 Stitched Shapes, 2 using the "A & B" side of on of the sheets of DSP, and the other in Whisper White. I used Stampin' Markers to ink up the 2 colours of the sentiment, then clear embossed it to give it a layer of shine and a raised finish.
