Thank ewe with Hippo Happiness

A new week is here - I had a super lazy Sunday.... I was sad after hearing the news of Sean Connery's passing, I found myself in a James Bond movie binge and before I knew it I was several movies into the collection and the day was gone, so when I got home from work on Monday I quickly made a card to join in this months International Hi ghlights hosted by Kylie Bertucci.  Our theme is Thank You, those 2 little words can brighten someones day, so this month I've done a bright and cheery card using the Hippo Happiness Bundle. I used a multitude of Brights colours for my design - Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, Gorgeous Grape, and a touch of Highland Heather for the butterfly "tails". Speaking of multitude of colours..... what about my nails, they were for Halloween/Day of the Dead - I like them so much I'm keeping the colours til they need to be changed!! Back to the card, I did a mixture of stamping on the card base, then used the 2 step just on the she...

Fluttering by to say HI!

Thanks for joining me today as I take part in a blog hop! with a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set - I'm putting my hand up to say I've dropped the ball since COVID, and are trying to get "back on the wagon so to speak, so I really appreciate your support. One of the first things to catch my eye in the Hippo Happiness Stamp Set was the butterflies, I'm not sure I can say what it was exactly, but they are so cute, and I love the little swirly dotted tr...

When inspiration hits..............and you should be asleep

I'm definitely out of sorts at the moment, try as I might, I've not been getting any daytime inspiration, and then when I'm trying to go to sleep I suddenly get ideas..... not a good thing when I've started a new roster that has me at the office 2 hrs hours earlier than I used too before my return to work after my COVID19 work from home period. I've been looking at the Hippo Happiness set for days, I was focused on the butterflies... then last night I just started stamping, I wasn't sure about he card I started so I put it to one side and then things came together and this gorgeous card was created - I couldn't be happier! There are so many "hero's" in this card - the combination of Gorgeous Grape with Magenta Madness is just STUNNING layering with the Stitched Stars die cuts while a little fiddly looks amazing too, and lets not forget the cute little guy in the middle! Here's a close up o...
