In the Meadow | #WWYS79

Time to get back to nature with WWYS this week, we are featuring In The Meadow I find this set quite calming and peaceful, with such a variety of images to choose from, you can use them separately or combine to create magnificent landscape scenes! I love the deer with her fawn, reminds me of me with my daughter and how much I love her. I used an  Aqua Painter  to colour my image on Shimmery White card stock, and adore the effect of using the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies  to frame it, a touch of Linen Thread  and there you have it, a simple but elegant card. Another simple card, I really like the tranquillity of the mountains with the water at the base, so soothing. So why not come along and join in the fun with us this week with In the Meadow - to see all the great projects from the Design Team and to participate in this weeks challenge at What Will You Stamp? click here Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.  I wou

International Blog Hop Highlighting Stampin' Up Products

I am so excited to welcome you to our International Blog Hop highlighting showcasing some of the latest Stampin' Up!® products. We are a group of demonstrators from around the world that want to give your inspiration and show ideas of what you can create with these amazing products.  I have had this project in mind for a number of weeks and decided this was the perfect "time" to get to it and create!  My daughter absolutely adores cats, so when I saw Pretty Kitty  in the 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue I knew it just had to go on my list - if she went through the catalogue and saw I didn't have the stamp set I would have had some serious explaining to do!  So it's "time" to see my Pretty Kitty project: I came across some desk clocks when I was in Cheap as Chips and thought they would be perfect for a project, they had a glass panel with print behind it which I thought would just peal off.... well think again - my hubby came to the rescue a

Sweet Cupcake | #WWYS78

It's sweet treat time at WWYS - we are featuring the Sweet Cupcake stamp set this week! This is such a cute set with a wide variety of sentiments for many occasions, and who doesn't love cup cakes!  My note card measures 9.9 x 9.9 cm, the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies  created the perfect back drop for my cupcake.  I just had to add Wink of Stella  on the icing, it looks so good you just want to eat it! and how beautiful is the Pool Party Satin Ribbon , I love the touch of shimmer and shine it adds to the card.    Why not come along and join in the fun with Sweet Cupcake this week - to see all the great projects from the Design Team and to participate in this weeks challenge at What Will You Stamp? click here Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.  I would love to update you when I create a post! Rustic Touches of Texture

Today I am sharing a project with you using the Touches of Texture  stamp set.  You may have seen my post from earlier this week , well this card is quite different:    I've used the background stamps on Mint Macaron cardstock to give a rustic style to my card, I just adore the "negative" image of this particular stamp, and also sponged the edges of my card stock for that "old world" feel. I am just loving the effects that can be created with the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies  too! I used the below colour combination: My sentiment has been created using the Thoughtful Banners  bundle, there are so many sentiments to choose from in this set, and a choice of 4 different Banners - how cool is that!        Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.  I would love to update you when I create a post! Crazy Crafters Blog Hop | Special Guest Dawn Olchefske

Welcome to our mid week Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Dawn Olchefske.  What an honour for us to be CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) one of Dawn's fantastic projects!  The inspiration came from this card.  Dawn has instructions for making this Shadow Box Fun Fold card on her blog, and I am a sucker for fun folds so decided this was the perfect opportunity to give one a try It's just like Dawn said, these cards are fun and easy to make! I changed things it up a bit and made a winter snow scene for the focal part of the card, I am so excited to share with you how this turned out! I immediately thought of  I card I made a few weeks ago  when when I saw Dawns shadow box, so incorporated the design from the card for my shadow card.   I used Layering Ovals Framelits Dies  to cut the window in the top layer of the shadow box, and also created a small scalloped frame and adhered with the fine tipped glue pen.  The  Softly Falling Textured Impr

Touches of Texture | #WWYS77

Hello, welcome to WWYS, this week we are featuring the Touches of Texture stamp set: This set is amazing for creating backgrounds and water colour type effects, but today I thought I would try at bit of a CAS style card with clean lines: I've used my favourite technique of colouring with an Aqua Painter, if you visit my blog often you will be familiar with this. what I have done differently on this card is use Clear Embossing powder with my black ink, it makes a lovely shine for that something a little different on you card - the gorgeous sentiment is from the limited edition Thoughtful Branches  set. I went a bit crazy once I started using my Layering Squares Framelits Dies , and oh my I just love the new Foam Adhesive Strips  - they are a little thicker than Dimesionals, so it was really easy to create these layers The flowers reminded me of gerberas (or happy flowers as I call them), I decided to step out of my pink comfort zone and ent
