Hello!  I'm playing along with Freshly Made Sketches - I've been finding it a bit hard to kickstart my mojo, still fighting to get back to full health, so I went looking for inspiration and got it with Narelle's Sketch: I have another sneak peek for you today, with Signs of Santa (pg 19) - a super cute bundle in the Holiday catalogue (available to order on Sept 5th) The stamp set features 10 images, and 8 sentiments, coordinating 14 framelits mean no fussy cutting! There is also Santa's Workshop DSP, which as white flocking on 4 of the pages, it is sooooo cute! I embossed the background with the Softly Falling embossing folder and then spritzed with my new favourite bling accessory.... Welcome to this weeks with What Will You Stamp? This week the set we are sharing creations using the Christmas Sweaters stamp set Most Australia cities enjoy a warm to hot Christmas season, so we don't see many "gaudy" sweaters, but it was still fun to get in the spirit and create this card, helped by the fact that we have just had a cool and rainy weekend in Adelaide (yep, I was back in my track pants and ugg boots on Sunday after it was hot and humid 37 on Tuesday!!!) Here's my creation: One of my bucket list items is a "White Christmas", so with that in mind I choose the snowflake sweater and coloured with my new Stampin' Blends using Pool Party and the light Bermuda Bay. I kept with my theme and added texture to the background with the Softly Falling embossing folder. The sentiment from Hearts Come Home fits perfectly with this set too! Today I decided it was time to pick up a stamp set that I hadn't used before - you know one of those sets you see in the catalogue that you just have to get, and you just haven't got to use it yet!  I recently re-organised my crafting area (amazing what you find when you do this); my electric  cutter is now in a much more usable space, so I dusted it off and and had a play with that too - don't fret, you can achieve a very similar result by fussy cutting, I just didn't feel like fussy cutting today. Aren't these little fish just adorable, I can't decide between the black and white or the Tempting Turquoise and Daffodil Delight as my favourite, the both look so lovely. Welcome to our mid week Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Dawn Olchefske.  What an honour for us to be CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) one of Dawn's fantastic projects!  The inspiration came from this card.  Dawn has instructions for making this Shadow Box Fun Fold card on her blog, and I am a sucker for fun folds so decided this was the perfect opportunity to give one a try It's just like Dawn said, these cards are fun and easy to make! I changed things it up a bit and made a winter snow scene for the focal part of the card, I am so excited to share with you how this turned out! I immediately thought of  I card I made a few weeks ago  when when I saw Dawns shadow box, so incorporated the design from the card for my shadow card.   I used Layering Ovals Framelits Dies  to cut the window in the top layer of the shadow box, and also created a small scalloped frame and adhered with the fine tipped glue pen.  Th...

Gift cards can be a great present for someone that can be difficult to buy for - I've come up with what I think is a fabulous way to dress the gift card and make a lovely personalised gift   Rudolf is made from the amazing Owl Punch , the little owl feet have been trimmed off and the nose is cut with the punch too. The antlers are made from the Tree Builder punch. I saw my daughter watching Mr Maker during the week, she just loves "googly eyes", so I opted for them rather than the Owl punch eyes in this instance. I used the Ornate Tag Topper Punch to create the Tag, then made a template to make the case to slide it into.  The heat embossed sentiment is from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set.    I decided to mount the Gift Card Case onto a card so that we can write a message, but you could just leave gift just using the Case.
