Sweet Conversations in 3D

Hello and welcome to the Sweet Conversations 3D Blog Hop! Today we have a variety of projects using the Sweet Conversations suite .  Initially I was a bit stumped at what to create, then I thought I don't need to re-invent the wheel, I'm going to CASE one of my own 3d projects of a Mini Shadow Box Treat Holder from a few years ago, here's my latest version: The finished size of the Shadow Box is 3" square - It's a perfect size to fit a sweet treat of love! And how cool is it that the heart chocolate treat are a match for Magenta Madness , it was just meant to be! I stamped a variety of hearts for the lid and finished with a twine bow. Please continue through the list below and see all the wonderful 3D projects, you're currently visiting Sue Vine - MissPinksCraftSpot: Here's my original tutorial so you can make your own Shadow Box: Want more Sweet Conversations inspiration? Sweet Conversations for Valentine's

Are you in the mood for love? Todays Crafty Collaborations blog hop is for Valentine's Day creations and inspiration. So of us go a little over the top on this day of love, I decided on a fun fold for my special Valentines Day card, using the Sweet Conversations stamp set and coordinating dies. I do love a fun fold, and can't remember the last time I made a Swing Fold card , I had a quick look on Pinterest to refresh my memory and got started. I went with Magenta Madness instead of red and adore the finished card.   I stamped off on scrap once before stamping the hearts to get them a little lighter, I wanted them to compliment not over power the cute little envelope. I also stamped on the inside of the card with a small sentiment and heart theme. I added a twine bow and Basic Rhinestone Gems for that special touch of bling to complete the card. Be sure to continue through the list below and projects of love:  Blog Hop Index I've also shared this card with couple of C...

Sweet Talk with All Star Tutorial Team

Hello crafters, the new year is here and so is the All Star Tutorial Team. This month we are showcasing the Sweet Talk suite from the Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalogue. The All Star Tutorial Design Team not only design a Tutorial Project that’s exclusive but we also each design an additional project to share here for further inspiration. Today I have a Valentines Shaker card for you - I haven't made a shaker for quite some time, they are super fun! I embossed the bottom layer of the card front using the Gingham Embossing Folder, then using one of the Basic Borders dies cut my "shaker layer". Once I had stamped the Sentiment I positioned 3 large Sweetheart dies. Next I trimmed a layer of Poppy Parade to size to put under the hearts. Next I added a window sheet to the Basic White front, then used Foam Adhesive Strips to give lift and space for the shaker bits (Sequins for Everything). After adding the red sequins, I carefully exposed the adhesive and popped the Poppy Parade laye...

Tic-tac-toe with Sweet Conversations

Hello crafters, being that it is a new year and the "world is our oyster" early in January I decided to step out of my comfort zone, away from my usual straight lines for today's card.  The O's and X's in the set reminded me of tic-tac-toe, so I thought I would bring that into today's design for something different: I measured out a grid onto the card front then did my stamping, then added texture with the Birch background stamp, then overlaid the grid with strips of Grey Granite card stock. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. If you live in Australia and don't already have a Demonstrator I'd love to be yours.  Sweet Conversations stamp set  available from Jan4th 2022 When shopping remember to use the current Hostess code  displayed at the top of my bl...
