Crazy Crafters Blog Hop | Special Guest Wendy Lee

Hello and welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Wendy Lee!  I went to high school with a Wendy Lee, but as I have never lived in Kansas it isn't the same Wendy - what a small world if it was!   When I saw Wendy's wiper card I was intrigued! That's when I decided to make a fun fold card for this hops CASE, here is what I was inspired to create: My card is an "oversized Double Slider Card" why oversized..... It was the only way I could fit 50 candles on the inside of the card! I utilised the full width of a piece of A4 card stock for the width of the card, and folded so that the finished card measures 9.7 cm high.  I double cut the sentiment using the Happy Birthday Thinlet , and used the Number of Years set and framelits to capture the special occasion. Picture Perfect Birthday  stamp set was perfect for this card, and being photopolymer it was easy to line up the candles. Now your are thinking or counting and saying th

Petal Passion Memories & More... so much more

Hello, today I am participating Kylie's international Highlight featuring our favourite Occasions and Sale-A-Bration items.  I have so many items that I like and have fallen in love with, one of these is the Petal Palette Suite , b ut I must say is that I was so surprised with the Petal Palette Memories and More Card set - and it also co-ordinates with the Petal Passion Suite! I adore the colour palette on these cards, black and white with Powder Pink, and the beautiful brush imagery also leads to shades of grey, featuring beautiful floral images and sentiments, you an create stunning memory keeping pages, but did you know you can also utilise these to create quick cards?  The cards coordinate with the Petal Palette bundle, I've used 2 sentiments from the stamp set, cut them with the banner framelit and layered to gorgeous decorative die underneath the banner.   How amazing is this watercolour wash background, it also reminds me of the background in an old

Magical Day #WWYS 156

Welcome back to a mystical magic week at What Will You Stamp? We are highlighting the Magical Day stamp set, which is part of the Myths & Magic suite: How adorable cute is this suite , and it it has it all! Stamp set with matching framelits (so no fussy cutting), gorgous DSP, washi tape and 6 x 6 Glimmer Paper! I was in the mood for pink, and decided to create a watercolour background for my creation, I added a little Melon Mambo, Sweet Sugarplum and Powder Pink to a clear stamp block, sprayed water and laid onto watercolour paper and "smooched" a little. Whilst it was drying I Silver embossed the unicorn image onto Shimmery White cardstock, then coloured with Watercolour Pencils and a Blender Pen, then die cut with the matching framelit. To finish I added Silver Bakers Twine and some Iridescent Sequins - love how these sequins look pink when the light hits them! Be sure to pop over and see all amazing projects from the Design Team
