Color Fusers Blog Hop July 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop!  This month, we are creating with Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler and Smokey Slate - colours that are not up the front of my palette if I am honest, so this was a challenge for me! I broke out one of my newest bundles - Impressions Abloom, I was fascinated with the dies, so that became my starting point, lots and lots of flowers and foliage were cut. The dies are made so that you can either cut the stamped images or die cut with detail as I have done for my card. I love layering, so I really enjoyed creating the arrangement with all the die cuts, I finished by adding some bling with jeweled rhinestones and a small butterfly (from Beautiful Butterfly dies). Color Fusers Blog Hop May 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, are introducing the new 2025-2027 In Colors. I decided to feature all the colours on one card, and started to cut matching circles using the Spotlight on Nature dies, the proceeded to make different colour combos using the circles. It was a really fun process and a great way to experiment with the new colours. To be honest, I wasn't sure about Cloud Cover and Secret Sea.... but I've found love for both of these when creating todays card as I saw how they can shine on their own and with other colours.   What I mean my this is that to my surprise Cloud Cover was more blue than grey when paired with Basic white all my itself - my immediate thought was ohhhh baby blue! Color Fusers Blog Hop April 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, we are featuring Lemon Lime Twist, Balmy Blue and Gorgeous Grape - I'd totally forgotten about Lemon Lime Twist.... but the colour of this ink is my inspiration. Maybe, just a twist of Lime I thought as I looked at the new Online Exclusive Cheers & Sips....... My husband purchased a "slushy machine before summer, and it has had quite a workout over the past few months - and believe it or not these colours are just some of the flavours we have enjoyed (Fruit Tingle, Midori  Illusion and Margarita mix). To create the drink colours I applied ink to a stamping block, spritzed with water then placed the block onto cardstock. Once dry I stamped the cup outline and then die cut. In the theme of the stampset, I hand drew the stick for the umbrella and the edge outline on the base. Color Fusers Blog Hop March 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, we are featuring Petunia Pop, Summer Splash and Peach Pie - all part of the 2024-2026 In Color selection. I decided to use 2nd generation stamping for my design, what I mean by this is that I "stamped off" off on a piece of scrap then applied the stamp to florals - it's a great way to lighten colours when you don't want the full depth of colour direct from the ink pad. I've stamped the smaller foliage onto the card front then on scrap  the large flower arrangement flowers and leaves before die cutting, this gave lots of depth to my design. The main elements are from the Flowers of Beauty bundle , and the heat embossed sentiment is from Sentimental Park . Beautiful Butterflies - I'm here

Hello crafty friends, it's been a lovely cool weekend in comparison to past weeks, and I was lucky to have the house to myself this morning and felt the need to get inky. I was sorting through my desk, and saw my Beautiful Butterflies Bundle , no need to look further, this is one of my favourite sets from the mini catalogue. The suite has gorgeous Beautiful Bokeh DSP and coordinating Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix , so me and my need for bling decided I just had to incorporate the Bokeh Mix into my slimline design.  I used a Blending Brush with Blueberry Bushel, Gorgeous Grape and Berry Burst, then splattered the card base with water - this is one of my "go to" techniques lately and works perfectly when adding lots of bling as with today's card. I die cut the butterflies from Thick Basic White cardstock and adhered, the added the Bokeh Mix for that touch of bling that I adore. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and...
