I've created a project using one of my favourite fun folds - a "z-fold", using the Snowflakes Sentiments Bundle The thinlits give the card lots to detail, and did take a bit of time to put together, but hey if I'm honest I overthink the the placement of the swirls and snowflake sentiments like 3 - 4 times before I stick them down, hahaha!, but I must say every minute was worth it, I am really happy with the finished card. Perfect Plum made the perfect companion for Soft Sky and Marina Mist and I also designed the height of the card so that when it folds flat it will fit in a normal C6 envelope Thanks so much for stopping by. Hello and welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Jenny Hall. You may be familiar with her blog and you tube clips from jennystampsup . Jenny has an amazing gallery of her creations on her blog, I was drawn to the following creation as repeat stamping is a technique on my "to do" list I started stamping snowflakes from Snowflake Sentiments, but then had a light bulb moment when I was die cutting, and instead of repeat stamping I created my project with repeat die cutting! I adore the effect of the stitched framelit around the snowflake, and it was super easy to cut as the Swirly Snowflake die fitted inside the square framelit too - so only one pass in the Bigshot was need to cut each element. I cut mini dimensionals in half and popped each of the squares up for added dimension.  I couldn't help myself - to finish the card I added a little bling by way of Dazzling Diamonds to the sentiment. The full line up below will guide you through all the projects and we'd love to hear from you on what your favourite technique is?  Today I am showcasing the "Ghosting Technique", what's that you say? In a nut shell you create the illusion  of a  lighter shadow behind  a main colour focal point by  stamping with white craft ink first and then with colour over the top, slightly offset. I LOVE the effect this technique creates! I started by using Crumb Cake card stock and stamping my design with white craft ink - make sure your ink pad is nice and juicy so you get extra good coverage with your white ink stamping, here's what my card front looked like: Wait for the ink to completely dry, it does take longer than the other inks, but don't rush it - I took the opportunity to stamp some extra cards, you can never ...

Welcome to the Stampin Friends October Blog Hop.  I hope your are ready to see lots of inspiring  Thanksgiving creations.   We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia like in the US, but it is always nice to show how much we appreciate what someone has done for you, so I've made a "Thank You" set featuring the Detailed Dragonfly thinlets. I "smooched" a watercolour background using Fresh Fig, Berry Burst and Powder Pink, then die cut 2 sets of dragonflies in Berry burst and one in Powder Pink and adhered together - this give a similar look to the "eclipse technique". The Rose Wonder set had the perfect sized "thank you" for my card, I stamped on vellum and clear embossed it, then all that was left was to add a touch of bling with some sequins. I double cut a larger butterfly in Fresh Fig and Powder Pink and added some Metallic Silver thread between them before adding to my Hexagonal Window Box - the ribbon ...
