Goodbye Paisleys & Posies

It's not long now before Paisley & Posies is retiring, so I thought I would send it off with a bang and share some of the wonderful projects that have created with this set and coordinating framelits I adore everything about the matching card and candle by Paula Dobson, the colour comination, the layout, and well, I am a sucker for a 3D project, so she had me at "candle" hahah! Oh the layers and the layout of Susy Stamps card is just devine! And how about this wreath by Melanie Coverston! GORGEOUS! I love this framed heart created with the stamps, it reminds me of embroidery like my grandmother used to do I love the character in Browyn Eastley's card, aren't those "clip art" owls just beautiful Copper embossing with Mint Macaron - one of my favourite combinations As you can see, a versatile stamp set that can be used for so much more than just cards - get you Paisleys ...

Ink It! Stamp it! Favourite retiring bundle | Magical Day

Hello everyone! I'm back today with the monthly Ink it! Stamp it! Design Team blog  Our theme this month is our "favourite retiring bundle" and I can' wait to see what the rest of the team has to share with us. It's a bitter sweet project for me today, as I absolutely adore the Magical Day Bundle and are sooooo sad to see it go - my daughter has already told me I must keep it for her and it's not to go in my retired for sale box, and how cute is this, she has drawn up a number of designs for herself to create with this bundle as I was making this project! The Magical Day stamp set bundles with the coordinating Magical Mates Framelit dies , and when purchased as a bundle you save 10% . Today I'm featuring a rainbow Unicorn I decided that as I'm saying goodbye to this bundle, I may as well also feature retiring colours in my watercolour rainbow: Rose Red Peekaboo Peach Daffodil Delight (not retiring, all the yellows ar...

Happiest of Days Masculine Birthday set

Welcome to the May 2018 Stampin Friends Blog Hop, this month the theme is "Masculine", when I saw this I thought oh no! masculine projects are my Nemesis! It's a style that just doesn't come naturally to me, I like shimmer and bling, and lets face it, that's not what most blokes relate to! So I went to my shelf of stamps and started scanning, nope, nope, maybe, nope..... it wasn't promising, then BAM! I saw the Happiest of Days stamp set. I know, how masculine are the roses and the pretty cake on a stand, right?????   But look again, what about those presents..... YES! Add some greens and blues and I will have my projects - woot, take that Masculine theme, bah hahaha! The treat box is designed to hold a gift card, with matching presents stamped on the front panel only so that it coordinates perfectly with the card. I clear heat embossed the stamping to give it a "little something special" of a raised glossy finish...

We Must Celebrate | Kelly's Stampin Friends Birthday Blog Hop

Happy Birthday Kelly!!!! I hope you are having an amazing day! I'm here today with many other Stamping Friends to celebrate Kelly Kent's birthday and I can' wait to see what everyone else has created to share with us today. I'm a regular visitor to Kelly's blog, and adore her creations. I was blown away when she contacted me on messenger last November after I presented at OnStage in Melbourne, and we had a lovely chat - I love that Stampin' Up! brings people from all over Australia and the world together. With that in mind, h ere's my creation in honour of Kelly, I so hope to catch up with you face to face at the next Stampin' Up! event. I love the cute critters in the We Must Celebrate set, I coloured with Stampin Blends and cut out the images to create my furry friends scene. I stamped the foliage in the background and divided up the 4 critters so I could layer them using dimensionals, here's a different view of the la...
