Seasons Greetings with Wishing You Well

How quick the weeks go by, it's that time again, a new tutorial and the Design Team Blog Hop!   Have you tried the DistINKtive Stamp sets? They are just beautiful, the detail is amazing, creating a 3D feel to your stamping. Today I've created a non traditional Pink themed Christmas project using one of these sets. How gorgeous is the Iridescent Wreath? When I saw it, I'm sure it ask me to just add Melon Mambo, so I did! The detailed Stitched Label Framelit worked a treat with my design I decided to mount on a Silver Foil edged card. Wishing You Well stamp set has a number of images and sentiments, the delicate font pairs wonderfully with the detailed stamping. I've stamped the "bunch" 3 times, masking using a postit note over the lower stems so they didn't poke out through to the other side of the card.  I ever so slightly offset the Melon Mambo die cut to make the Whisper White stitched labels die pop.  Lastly I added so...

Seasons Greetings with All is Bright

I'm on a roll with the All is Bright DSP, today I'm combining it with the DistINKtive Wishing You Well stamp set. I always knew I wanted to put Red Rhinestones on this DistINKtive wreath, and it is even better than I imaged when paired with the All is Bright DSP, just love those little Christmas lights poking through. I've used Gold Foil-Edged Cards & Envelopes for the base of the project, after all they just make it so easy to add a touch of bling, and yes I do love a bit of bling!  The wreath and sentiment are stamped with Garden Green, then I wound Gold Metallic thread around the Very Vanilla layer and tied a bow, then mounted on a piece of cardstock I'd embossed with the Corrugated embossing folder, lastly applying the Red Rhinestones for a little more bling. Why, oh why did I wait so long to cut into the All is Bright DSP?  #loveitchopit Stamp sets & Framelits: Wishing You Well  DistINKtive Stamp set Ink:   ...

Elegant baubles with All is Bright

Woohoo, another DSP design with All is Bright, and I must confess - I love this card! I've also utilised the Gold Foil-Edged Cards & Envelopes for the base of the project, just love the bang of elegance that the foil gives your cards, and the matching envelope too - a great package. The strip of DSP is adhered directly to the card, the I Gold embossed the sentiment, using 2 of the words from Merry Christmas to All - a great set with versatility to make many sentiments of your choice as all the words are separate stamps. The Whisper White layers being mounted on a layer of "corrugated embossed" card stock, alternatively you could use Dimensionals to raise your layers. Here's a quick video explaining how you can use the corrugated embossing folder to raise your layers Now I'm back in the craft room to create all with the All is Bright Suite and to cut into some more All is Bright DSP #loveitchopit Stamp sets ...

Merry Christmas to All with All is Bright

I've been in a bit of a DSP free zone, so with the realisation that December is here and I still have many cards to make for Christmas, decided to share some love to the All is Bright Designer Series paper to speed up my Christmas Card production. To get into the DSP zone, I took grabbed my  Holiday Catalogue, and took inspiration from the All is Bright Suite samples, here's what I created: I've also utilised the Gold foiled edged cards for the base of the project, I just love the elegance of the foil in a jiffy, and instead of embossing the bottom edge of the Christmas die cut, I painted it with Vegas Gold Shimmer paint. I water washed the Very Vanilla card stock with Crumb Cake and then a quick brush with Vegas Gold, then just like the sample, stamped the swirls with Crumb Cake. to finish I layered the card stock so that the Christmas lights from the All is Bright DSP are poking out around the edge. Now I'm back in the craft room to create all ...
