Playful Pals | Pink Lady Frog Pyramid Box

I have found a new level of cuteness for the Playful Pals Bundle - Olive Green and Melon Mambo have never looked so good!

This is the first time I have tired the Pyramid Box Thinlet die, I saw a gorgeous frog posted on a Facebook forum which got me thinking.  It is very easy and I used less than half a sheet of A4 cardstock, including the frog legs.  I cut the heart for her lips from a scrap of Melon Mambo using the Owl Punch - super cute lips for the lovely Lady!

There was a method to the madness of the crazy pink bow hair style that I made using Melon Mambo Satin Ribbon ... and it's not just that I love Pink

I attached the "middle" to the back of the box with a mini glue dot to make it easy to open!

Say it with Stars... Happy Birthday

I've had a crafty orientated day today in between weekend household chores, after delivering catalogues, and in between multiple loads of washing & cooking I played with part of my So Many Stars bundle..... being the Stitched Stars dies (23 in the set, spoiilt for choice, woot!) These dies were perfect for the Global Design Project theme this week: I started by stamping my birthday sentiment, then placed 3 of the star dies (the 3 smaller detailed stars) in position and ran through the Big Shot, then re-positioned and worked by way along the edge of the card, cutting 7 in total - perfect for a rainbow of colour. I used 2 of the stitched stars to cut the colours, then placed them behind the card front and popped up on dimensionals, lastly mounting the card front on a Thick Whisper White card base, and there you have it, a fun Children's birthday card! Peony Garden All Star Blog Hop

Happy Friday and welcome to the new look All Star Tutorial Team. Today we have more projects featuring the gorgeous Peony Garden Suite. After a few crazy busy weeks at my not so 9 to 5 day job, some colour therapy was needed; I find colouring relaxes me and helps me unwind, how about you? I used light & dark Highland Heather & Old Olive Stampin' Blends, then added Light Pool Party around the edge of the images - all the time using the Color Lifter to help blend the colours to my liking. To finish I added a strip of Basic Black cardstock and some black ink splatters.  Continue through the list below to see more creations from the design team: Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Celebrate Sunflowers

I can't believe it's October, another month has gone by, on the plus side we are closed to the end of 2020, and a new All Star Tutorial Bundle is available. This month we are showcasing the Flowers for Every Season suite, I've been using the Celebrate Sunflowers bundle for my creations. I made this card with a recipient in mind, so that's why the non traditional flower colour theme, but to be honest I think it looks great. I purposely left some of the die cut pieces in the flowers to an extra hint of Coastal Cabana contrast to the Bermuda Bay background. I used a Stampin Marker to underline the sentiment, and of course I had to add a little bling, just a hint of Metallic Mesh Ribbon behind the banner and some shimmer paint for the centre of the sunflowers. In Good Taste | All Star Tutorial Blog Hop

Happy Friday and welcome to this month's All Star Tutorial Hop featuring the In Good Taste Suite. So funny story (not so funny at the time), today's card was intended for my tutorial, but..... lets say after significant and repeated technical difficulties (that may or may not have ended in tears) it became my second project for the Design Team. My flowers are water coloured using Magenta Madness and Mango Melody, then fussy cut, the foliage is stamped directly onto the card base with a little splash of Balmy Blue to soften the card base, I've really become a fan of the splatter technique with flowers lately. A thin border of Magenta Madness really made the flowers pop, then to  finish with some pretty Gold Glitter Enamel Dots & Champagne Shimmer Paint in the centre of the flowers for a touch of bling. September 2020 All Star Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop Playing with Patterns

Hello September........ and hello to this month's All Star Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop featuring the Playing with Patterns Suite - such a fun suite which has endless possibilities. I needed a pick me up when creating this card, so I went with a rainbow theme, they always puts a smile in my thoughts, and here's hoping there is a wonderful surprise at the end of the 2020 rainbow - it's been such a year that none of us could have imagined. I used the bold stripe stamp to create my happy rainbow, stamping on a narrow piece of card stock before adhering to another layer and popped it up on dimensionals on the card base. Next to cut the sentiment with the coordinating dies, lastly I added a fine strip of Basic Black, all in all the card came together quite quickly, and I'm super happy with the result.
