Work of Art with Endless Birthday Wishes

Today I am playing along with the sketch challenge at the Global Design Project, here is my take on the sketch:



Surprisingly a simple sketch can be a little daunting depending on your frame of mind at the time - I viewed the Design Teams projects slept on it and then I had it, then I just had to find time to put ink to cardstock! Finally a few hectic days I have my completed project, below is Teneale's sketch:

I stamped the background using 3 of the stamps from Work of Art - love this set!  

   

I couldn't help but bling up the sentiment from Endless Birthday Wishes a little - I've used Iridescent embossing powder on top of Basic Black, love this sparkly shimmery effect! Here's a photo up close:
