Butterfly Beauty meets Dandelion Wishes

Welcome to the last Crazy Crafters Blog Hop for 2018 - where has the year gone!  Today we have the pleasure of casing the lovely Meg Loven from, you may be familiar with her blog LovenStamps

Our task as always is to find inspiration from one of our special guests creations and CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit), I chose the below creation from Meg:

Here's my creation:

I drew inspiration from the detailed die cuts, embossing and circular sentiment. This is my first play with the Butterfly Beauty Thinlet Dies (available from 3rd January in the 2019 Occasions catalogue), and I'm a fan, they are gorgeous, and layer beautifully... and I do love layers!

I trimmed down the die cuts and only used 3 of the butterflies instead of all 5, here's a quick clip of how I created this project

Get comfortable and work your way through the list below to see all the amazing creations  inspired by Meg, I can't wait to see what the rest of the team has to show you, don't miss out on any of these blog posts today as I'm sure there will also be some more sneak peeks from the Occasions Catalogue too! Thank you for everything Hues of Happiness

Hello crafty friends, I'm using one of my favourite layouts today with the simply gorgeous Hues of Happiness DSP . I decided to make the card using Pool Party cardstock to complement the blue flowers in a bed of purples, I think it turned out lovely. I added detail to the card front by using the Scalloped edge from the Scalloped Contours Dies , and heat embossed a sentiment in silver from the Color & Contour stamp set .  To finish I added a touch of bling with Rhinestone  Basic Jewels . Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. Color Fusers Blog Hop February 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, we have pretty pastels Bubble Bath and Soft Sea Foam with a pop of colour being Costal Cabana.. I went back to one of my Annual Catalogue favourites for this card - Layers of Beauty.  This is a versatile bundle as it includes the Decorative Masks, which make for a simply gorgeous water colour effect. Being the middle of summer and over 40 ° C degrees (104 ° F) most of my flowers are looking a little "crispy", so wanting to see some fresh flowers. I stamped my outline in Soft Sea Foam and added a touch of Coastal Cabana on the end of the flowers for newly blossomed blooms, to my surprise this gave my card a hint of a vintage colouring. After die cutting the arrangement, I cut in half and trimmed a segment of mini blooms so that I could extend the images top to bottom, using dimensions to adhere to the card front. To finish I added a Gold Embossed sentiment and some Gold Twisted Thread. Continue on through t...

Fancy Folds Stampers Showcase - Hues of Happiness Circle Easel Card

Hello there crafters! You are going to love today's Stamper Showcase Blog Hop - we are all featuring FUN FOLDS, I just love a fun fold, I should really do more of them! I decided to a Circle Easel Card, it's a smaller card, but I think you will agree is just super cute, and with the Hues of Happiness DSP is just Gorgeous! This card is a relatively simple for a fun fold and comes together very quickly - I think I spent more time doing the floral arrangement than the actual fun fold itself. I took advantage of being able to die cut images directly from the Hues of Happiness DSP - I love it when we can do this with DSP, and aren't the flowers just stunning! I took 3 different flowers and some foliage and arranged to fit within the Basic White Circle cut from the largest circle die in Layering Circles Dies set, and the largest scallop die is used for the coloured section of the card. To create the card base you need to fold a piece of card stock and positon the largest die slig...

Endless Birthday Wishes | WWYS#65

It's Monday, so that means there is a fresh What Will You Stamp? challenge.  This week we are showcasing Endless Birthday Wishes.   I adore the font in this set, and the cake is just too cute!  I've used Washi Tape from the It's my Party range on the edge of my raised layers, and stamped the sentiment on the base of the card. I used aqua painters to colour the cake and cut used the new layering square framelits (available in the 2016-2017 Catalogue), how delicate is the scalloped edge? Just gorgeous! Whilst I went with a traditional sentiment for my card; this set has truly endless possibilities in terms of creating you own special message - how amazing is that!  Click below to see all the inspiring creations from the Design Team, we would love you to join in the fun too!  How many different sentiments can you come up with? Thanks for stopping by today, I would love to update you when I create a post! If you would like to receive an email...

Color Fusers Blog Hop April 2025

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, we are featuring Lemon Lime Twist, Balmy Blue and Gorgeous Grape - I'd totally forgotten about Lemon Lime Twist.... but the colour of this ink is my inspiration. Maybe, just a twist of Lime I thought as I looked at the new Online Exclusive Cheers & Sips....... My husband purchased a "slushy machine before summer, and it has had quite a workout over the past few months - and believe it or not these colours are just some of the flavours we have enjoyed (Fruit Tingle, Midori  Illusion and Margarita mix). To create the drink colours I applied ink to a stamping block, spritzed with water then placed the block onto cardstock. Once dry I stamped the cup outline and then die cut. In the theme of the stampset, I hand drew the stick for the umbrella and the edge outline on the base.
