Gorgeous Grunge | Hardwood | Ink Pad holder

Howdy everyone, I've been really busy today with a project that I have been wanting to do for months!  So why today, well I started to clean up and reorganise my crafting area, then when I created a space, inspiration hit - and that was it for cleaning up, but I did manage to finish this:

I picked the craft wood turntable from a clearance rack in a craft store back in the new year, had the idea that it would be great for storing my ink pads and other regularly used items. Apart from roughly putting it together to make sure I had all the parts, I didn't get much further

Initially my plan was to paint and then decorate with DSP, but then today I got the idea of stamping.  I reached for my Gorgeous Grunge set without blinking and started - oh my there are lots of parts when you start stamping!

I needed something more, then again, inspiration, why not use the Hardwood Background stamp - it worked a treat.  For the larger sections I used Post-it notes so that I didn't double stamp the woodgrain

I even did some parquetry!

I also used the Hardwood stamp for the edges of the craftwood, I got carried away and went back and stamped Gorgeous Grunge where I had stamped over the edge too!

And here is the completed Ink Pad holder in "action"

I am over the moon with the finished product!

Hand-Penned Thanks

Hello crafty friends, todays card is for Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop, our  Blog Hop Theme: Thank you This month I will be treating my customers with a thank you card featuring the Hand-Penned Suite.  Below is one of the Thank You cards you may receive when shopping with me this month - May 2021. This is one of my "go to" layouts when using DSP, and dressed up with the gorgeous scalloped edge die it has wow and comes together in a jiffy. After stamping the sentiment (I wish I could write like this) all that is left to do is  adhering scalloped edged card fronts by popping them up on dimensionals, then a touch of bling with rhinestones. So if live in Australia, and would like to receive a Hand Penned Thank You card from Sue Vine - simply place an order with me this month! Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Continue through the list below of fellow demonstrators who are all working on building our businesses and having fun

Sand & Sea All Star Tutorial Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to this months All Star Tutorial Design Team Blog Hop featuring the Sand & Sea suite. I had so much fun creating my tutorial card, I used the same background technique for this card - you will never get any 2 cards identical, so if you like something that is unique, this may be for you to try.  I didn't use the embossing folder for today's card, just the single die cut to get my 3 seafloor elements. I first stamped them, then coloured with Stampin' Blends. Love You Always - All Star Tutorial Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the All Star Tutorial Design Team Blog Hop featuring this month's suite - Love you Always. For today's card I've let the True Love Designer Series Paper do most of the work. After cutting the flowers, I added a light touch of colour with Blushing Bride and Soft Sea Foam then positioned under the double banner - I love how this banner has the indentations for folding to make it look more 3D. Lastly I added a touch of bling with Blushing Bride Metallic Ribon and Champagne Rhinestones.  Be sure to continue through the list below to see more creations from the Love You Always Suite from the design team: Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Sending Smiles with Butterfly Bouquet

One of the fantastic things about being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is that we get early access to catalogue items - just the Butterfly Bouquet Collection!  This means that we can show you our wonderful projects on the day that it released to customers.... TODAY! Isn't it just gorgeous, talk about want it all...... uhh, yes! I reframed from using DSP today and have focused on the beautiful die cuts. The set comes with both outline and detailed dies, so it's entirely up to you as to what you want to use, surprise, I couldn't choose, so stamped a couple of the smaller images to combine with a large diecut. I used blending brushes with Highland Heather and Seaside Spray, with the sentiment (from Many Messages) and butterfly detail stamped with Gray Granite. The background is courtesy of the Painted Texture 3D Embossing folder. Be sure to continue through the blog hop for more inspiration from Butterfly Bouquet. Hydrangea Hill All Star Tutorial Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the All Star Tutorial Design Team Blog Hop featuring this month's suite - Hydrangea Hill. I grew up with lots of purple, it was the theme of my bedroom (with pink of course), my grandmother loved lavenders  and there were Hydrangea's outside my bedroom window. It always fascinated me how the elements in the soil was what determined their colour. I've utilised an image from the DSP today in my card, and added a simple sentiment and little embossing - all and all quite a simple card to create. For a touch of bling, you can't go past the Pastel Pearls, 4 beautiful colours that compliment the suite.
