Firstly a big thank you to everyone that voted for my card in the October International Highlights - I was in the Top 10, so I'm back with another "sorry" themed card in today's blog hop.
As we know all too well, there just are times that we say or do something wrong and then need to apologise or we are sad for someone and want to let them know. A card is the perfect way to do so and has so much power to heal. Today's creation uses the new Happiness Surrounds stamp set, it's part of the Snowflake Showcase limited time promotion.
This set has a variety of sentiments and images, you can even create your own background - I sponged Powder Pink and a hint of Calypso Coral, being a photopolmyer set it is quite simple to line up the images, and wa-lah, you have your background.
The coordinating framelits are just gorgeous, a mix of shapes to cut solid images, and intricate dies that layer superbly.
For the rustic feel, rough up the edges of the card, and splatter a little ink, and in my case Vegas Gold Shimmer paint for a little touch of bling.
Be sure to view the Top 10 participants for some crafty inspiration, I can't wait to see what everyone has created.
