The inspiration for today's card comes from the Sweet Sunday sketch challenge
I originally chose one of the other stamps for this card for the larger tree, but I forgot to use my embossing buddy, and when I put the powder on the sentiment I could see that detail wasn't clear; so I salvaged the tree by layering the smaller tree on top, you can just see the edge of original stamping. The smaller tree has the trunk trimmed off and embossed with the gorgeous Christmas lights stamp - I really love how this turned out, funny how a "disaster" can turn into something wonderful!
The gold circle is also embossed, and the snowflakes are from the Softly Falling TIEF. The sentiment is from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set - again, your embossing buddy is a must for this, hard to believe it can make such a difference, but it does! And I wouldn't be without my Triple banner punch either, just perfect for cutting multiple banners.
