Sadly I missed the deadline for the the first Global Design Project, but I have made it this week with an hour or so to spare! Each week there the Global Design Team provides a new challenge based on either a colour combination, a sketch, theme and CASE-ing the Designer - check out the Schedule at Global Design Project for all the details.
This week, the challenge is to use the sketch, I really wanted to use one of my new products from Stampin’ Up!’s 2015 Holiday Catalogue, so I went with a Christmas-themed card. Here’s my card for GDP002:
I used Very Vanilla with Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler for a traditional Christmas feel, and added some gold glitter paper and embossing for a touch of bling!
I decided to back set my image on the inside of my card and cut a circle in the front of the card instead of layering on top - I also added some more detail to the image that you see when you open the card.
Thanks for visiting today,

This is the the sketch provided by Teneale Williams that inspired my card:

Sue this is awesome!! I adore the tree poking through the front window and then the little gifts there when you open the card. Very clever! Thanks for playing at Global Design Project this week ♥
