Hello and welcome to the first Crazy Crafters Blog Hop for 2017, today we have the amazing Sandi MacIver joining us and we get to CASE her work!
Sandi has so many beautiful designs, after many visits to her blog I finally decided to CASE the following card:
I love so many elements of Sandi's card, the Lift Me Up stamp set, the use of vellum, blended background and the layers. Here's my project:
I excitiely cut into a sheet of my "free" Sale-a-Bration DSP to create my background, then stamped my balloons in Real Red and Crushed Curry - the detail in these stamps is just incredible, likewise in the Up & Away thinlets. I used the masking technique to stamp my sentiment separately then die cut the clouds and layered using dimensionals.
This is a great masculine stamp set/bundle available from the Occasions Catalogue, and even better the coordinating DSP is one of the free Sale-A-Bration items - what more could you ask for!
Thank you for the inspiration Sandi and for joining us today - it is such an honour to be hopping with you.
I would love it if you could pin my cards! Make sure you hop all the way around our Crazy Crafters hop and see all the incredible ideas and creations, and if you have a chance please leave a comment, we love receiving comments! DeleteIs that an extra layer of mountains in the front? It looks fantastic! xx
ReplyDeleteyes, I did a bit of extra cutting into the DSP - I wasn't fond of where the trees and mountains were when I first laid out the card. lol
DeleteAwesome card Sue. Love everything about. Did you fussy cut those mountains at the bottom of your card? All those layers make it look 3D.

ReplyDeletethank you Stephanie, I can't believe that I have spent so much time admiring DSP rather than using it in the past!
