Hey Chick! for Easter | Crazy Crafters Blog Hop | Special Guest Rachel Tessman

Hello and welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Rachel Tessman from the United States. Rachel has been a demonstrator for 17yrs, and her blog 'Stamp your art out!' is full of inspiration, I particularly like her "outside the box" projects and her scrapbook layouts.  I was so tempted to CASE and create a scrapbook page, I have so many that I need to complete! In the end I decided to CASE the below technique that utilises the Fine Tip Glue Pen to create a resist image:

This is such a great technique that allows you to add sponging to a project without altering the colour of your image, here is my project:

The Curvy Keepsake box is one of my favourites, you can dress it up or down depending on your reason for creating a favour/gift box. I used the cute little egg from the Sale-A-Bration set "Hey Chick!" and stamped the lower edge of Curvy Keepsakes diecuts and then coloured with Watercolour pencils and a Blender Pen.

I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen to cover the legs of my little chicks, when dry I sponged Wild Wasabi for a grass effect along the base of the box. I decided to sponge So Saffron on the top of the box too with the colour deeper on the handle and blending down to nothing towards the stamped chicks - kind of like the sun is shining :)

Be sure you hop all the way around our Crazy Crafters hop and see all the incredible creations, and if you have a chance please leave a comment, we love receiving comments! Thank you for everything Hues of Happiness

Hello crafty friends, I'm using one of my favourite layouts today with the simply gorgeous Hues of Happiness DSP . I decided to make the card using Pool Party cardstock to complement the blue flowers in a bed of purples, I think it turned out lovely. I added detail to the card front by using the Scalloped edge from the Scalloped Contours Dies , and heat embossed a sentiment in silver from the Color & Contour stamp set .  To finish I added a touch of bling with Rhinestone  Basic Jewels . Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. If you live in Australia and don't already have a Demonstrator I'd love to be yours.  Hues of Happiness DSP Scalloped Contour Dies   Colo...

Endless Birthday Wishes | WWYS#65

It's Monday, so that means there is a fresh What Will You Stamp? challenge.  This week we are showcasing Endless Birthday Wishes.   I adore the font in this set, and the cake is just too cute!  I've used Washi Tape from the It's my Party range on the edge of my raised layers, and stamped the sentiment on the base of the card. I used aqua painters to colour the cake and cut used the new layering square framelits (available in the 2016-2017 Catalogue), how delicate is the scalloped edge? Just gorgeous! Whilst I went with a traditional sentiment for my card; this set has truly endless possibilities in terms of creating you own special message - how amazing is that!  Click below to see all the inspiring creations from the Design Team, we would love you to join in the fun too!  How many different sentiments can you come up with? Thanks for stopping by today, I would love to update you when I create a post! If you would like to receive an email...

Fancy Folds Stampers Showcase - Hues of Happiness Circle Easel Card

Hello there crafters! You are going to love today's Stamper Showcase Blog Hop - we are all featuring FUN FOLDS, I just love a fun fold, I should really do more of them! I decided to a Circle Easel Card, it's a smaller card, but I think you will agree is just super cute, and with the Hues of Happiness DSP is just Gorgeous! This card is a relatively simple for a fun fold and comes together very quickly - I think I spent more time doing the floral arrangement than the actual fun fold itself. I took advantage of being able to die cut images directly from the Hues of Happiness DSP - I love it when we can do this with DSP, and aren't the flowers just stunning! I took 3 different flowers and some foliage and arranged to fit within the Basic White Circle cut from the largest circle die in Layering Circles Dies set, and the largest scallop die is used for the coloured section of the card. To create the card base you need to fold a piece of card stock and positon the largest die slig...

Color Fusers Blog Hop May 2024

It's time for this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our colors include Pebbled Path, Bubble Bath and Moody Mauve - perfect colours for a Mother's Day Card! I've used the new Attention Shoppers Bundle for my design - a super fun set with a mix of font and cute pictures that can be mixed and matched to be used for so many occasions. I added some InColor DSP and cut the feature circle using the online exclusive  Everyday Details Dies  - they are just amazing, I missed them being released due to being so busy at work - so take it from me, make sure you keep an eye on the Online Exclusives released each March, July and November. I decided on a "wash of colour" using Stampin' Blends then die cut with the coordinating dies. After stamping the sentiment I adhered the 3 die cut images and finished by adding a touch of bling with Silver ribbon and Basic Rhinestones. Color Fusers Blog Hop November 2024

Welcome to this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, we are featuring the some old favorites of mine - Berry Burst, Azure Afternoon and Fresh Freesia. My creation was inspired by the fact that we had our Christmas Pageant this weekend, and that I love making Christmas cards in non traditional colours. I started by blending our featured colours in the bottom right of the card front, then I "flicked" with some water and let dry before heat embossing the sentiment from the Decorative Trees bundle. This bundle has a variety of tree dies, I chose the one with snowflakes and adhered over the blended colours, to finish I added some rhinestones for that special sparkle that Christmas brings.
