Thank you for joining us again for our "Enjoy the little things in life - Design Team Video Blog Hop". this month we are all showing you a technique. I'm sure you will pick up inspiration from the Design Teams creations, as well as some great ideas and tips including videos that will help you to be more creative.
My creation today uses Repeat Stamping - this technique can be used for many creations - I've used it to create an oversized Double Slider Card, oversized as I needed to fit 50 candles on the card!
I repeat stamped the 50 candles using the Stamparatus using the Picture Perfect stamp set, this time featuring Lemon Lime Twist, Island Indigo & Tranquil Tide for my base colour theme, here is what the card looks like fully extended:
You may have seen my original card featuring pink candles back in late February, I had lots of requests for a video of how to make the card, so here it is! It does take a while and there are a few steps, but I think the end product is worth if for a special 50th.
Sit back and take your time to hop all the way around our video hop and see all the incredible creations, and if you have a chance please leave a comment, we love receiving comments! I love your double slider card Sue. I was amazed the first time I created one as to how easy it actually is to creat. Your repeat stamping on this is perfect. Thank you for the video tips x
ReplyDeleteI agree Kim, it is a great fun fold card that isn't too hard to make. Once I got my head around the basics I just modified the size so that the 50 candles would fit - that was the real challenge!
