Crazy Crafters Blog Hop | Special Guest Tami White

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop, today we have the great pleasure to have Tami White as our special guest - thank you Tami for joining us!   Our task - to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) one of Tami's projects. My CASE is inspired by the the below card using Touches of Texture: Whilst yellows and oranges are not my natural colour choice, I do really like the earthy feel on this card. The Bunch of small flowers is what caught my attention, here is my CASE: Touches of Texture  not only has beautiful flowers, but also background sets making it a very versatile set for your collection. I have used Sweet Sugarplum with a hint of Flirty Flamingo, Soft Sky and Wild Wasabi for my colours with a touch of Wink of Stella  for a little bling, these colours are so much more me!  The gorgeous sentiment is from Thoughtful Branches, and I am just loving the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies .  Wrapping Silver Metalic Thread  is...

Pop of Paradise | #WWYS74

I am soooo excited with this weeks highlighted stamp set at What Will You Stamp?... it just happens to scream out for my signature colour..PINK! Flamingo just screams for pink, and even better is that this stamp set coordinates with the beautiful Designer Series Paper Pop of Pink - what more could I ask for! As you can see I did get a bit carried away,  I have used every stamp in this gorgeous set,   but after all Pink is involved so wasn't a challenge or a chore at all!   I love how vibrant this card is, Cucumber Crush looks awesome with Miss Melon Mambo Flamingo! The stripped background is from the Pop Of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper  - the DSP as a lovely combination of Black, Melon Mambo, Whisper White and Gold 12 x 12 inch papers, so beautiful I've used the DSP for the lid of my Diamond box, I have been eyeing this design box for a while, I just love the angles, and the thinking of you heart sentim...

Hello Lovely Foxy Friends | GDP045

I was so excited when I saw the colour challenge at the Global Design Project this week, can you guess why? What can I say, this challenge has my signature colour, so I just had to make a super cute project to showcase this lovely colour selection, and when I saw Paula Dobson's card I immediately thought of Pepe le Pew and Love.  I only just received my Foxy Friends  Bundle, now to break it open - double excitement as I get to use Pink too! I modelled my cute little critter on Pepe; I layered black and white tail sections to give him is voluptuous tail finishing with a thin black stripe, I was already in love and I had only made his tail.  I punched another white tail section and layered onto the body to give him his white tummy, now onto the face. The punch makes the mask, nose and ear for you, too easy, and finally I punched several of the little tufts to give his "Elvis quaff" volume.  I stamped and fussy cut the log for Pepe to sit on and mou...

Have you ever lost a Thinlit or Framelit Die?

A couple of weeks ago I had a mini meltdown when I thought I had lost a new framelit after only having used the set once, the worst part was I wasn't even exactly sure what I was missing! Our wonderful bundles come with a package of Dies to make easy cutting of our stamped images, likewise there are layering circles, squares etc.  We receive our dies in sturdy packaging that provides both storage and details of the number of dies: I find that the double sided tape on the card becomes a bit tattered when I remove the dies, especially when I use them frequently, this annoys me so I find that I end up storing the Dies like this: Whilst this works perfectly well, it was also my undoing when I left a framelit on my workstation, luckily I was making a project the next day, I thought I was going mad thinking there was another swirly die or was there only 2 and it was a flower I was missing! But how could I be sure, the packaging only provides the total number of Dies, wha...

Jar of Love | #WWYS73

It's Monday, so that means it is WWYS time.  This week we are featuring the adorable Jar of Love stamp set. When I first saw this new set in the 2016-2017 Catalogue I must admit, I wasn't sold - I didn't see all the possibilities that this set has, BUT now that I have used these beautiful images I am sold! I wanted to show that this set isn't just limited to a jar/vase with flowers. I really like the flowers and foliage, and as you can see you can make a beautiful wreath design.  The set also has many sentiments to choose from, and comes with matching framelit dies which can be purchased with the stamp set as a Bundle  so you save 10% AND if you purchase in this month the bundle will earn you a Bonus Days coupon = WIN WIN! Now you have seen my creations come along and join the fun - to see all the great projects from the Design Team and to participate in this weeks challenge at What Will You Stamp? click here Thanks for visiting today, I hope ...

Christmas in July with Thoughtful Branches

I know it is only July, but I just couldn't help but make an early Christmas project with the Thoughtful Branches stamp set - this set is so versatile! I used Layering Ovals Framelits Dies  to cut a mask from paper and laid over my Whisper White cardstock, then stamped the small trees multiple times using Soft Sky then sponged the oval to give a misty, foggy feel.  Then I removed the mask and stamped the larger tree and foliage in VersaMark and Smoky Slate and used Heat & Stick Powder  to heat emboss Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter The Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder  finished of the design perfectly, the sentiment is from Flurry Of Wishes I am also entering this project into SIP challenge 56 See below for details about the limited edition Thoughtful Branches set. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.  I would love to update you when I create a post! If you would like to receive ...

Floral Phrases Pocket Card

Welcome back, I've been playing with Detailed Floral Thinlets and made a Pocket card, I've seen a few of these on Pinterest and thought I would give one a go: The Details Floral Thinlets give a beautiful focal point for this project, and also make it easy - I just cut a strip of card 10.5 cm wide and used the larger of the 2 dies in my Big Shot, you can't get much easier than that! The I scored and folded the bottom of the card to create the pocket, I popped in a layer of vellum so that the card wouldn't get caught on the die cut image and you do need to be mindful when  adhering the sides that you leave sufficient room for your card to slide in and out smoothly. The sentiment from Floral Phrases is perfect for a Wedding or Anniversary, I deliberately kept the card simple with just the sentiment and bow so that things didn't become too busy as I just adore the die cut image. The Floral Phrases stamp set is available with the Detail...
