Hello and welcome to this Easter Blog hop. I decided to make my own Easter Egg, which can be filled with what ever treat you decide. I took inspiration from Cadbury packaging, but include the full spectrum of the rainbow for my project using Blending Brushes with Magenta Madness, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point & Gorgeous Grape. Here are some other angles to show all the colour blending: I started with half a sheet of A4 cardstock and blended my rainbow using Blending brushes - I got the dimensions for the project  here To "close" my egg I wrapped it like a present with ribbon and just tied a bow, so happy with the finished project! Hello, welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog hop - today it is all about Ribbon - to say I am "bow challenged" when it comes to making bows is an understatement, so  today I am sharing a technique that I use to make my twine bows. I've been noticing more and more Easter items in the supermarkets lately.... I may even have given into to my first packet of Hot Cross Buns 😉 And after a request for a tutorial that brought me back to an Easter 2018 post, I got motivated to do my first Easter creation for 2020 (which will also mean I will more than a little prepared when the time comes for Easter treats).  The cute little rabbit is from the Cuckoo for You Stamp set - I stamped it on Soft Suede cardstock and coloured with watercolour pencils. I wasn't trying to get a perfect look with the colouring, it was more an experiment to see how the colours work going over a dark background, and I'm actually quite happy with the result, it has a "child" type quality, which I really like with the stamped image. Welcome to this month's Ink it! Stamp it! 3D themed blog hop - I LOVE 3D cards and projects, they are so much fun!  I've been getting in the Easter theme this week, so decided to create a 3D Easter project for you. I've been super busy this week, so rather than "re-invent" the wheel so to speak, I utilised Clear Treat Boxes to create today's project. I dressed up the bottom of the box my cutting the "grass" using the Basket Builder Framelits - they fitted perfectly folded in half, here's a view of the back of the box: You can also see in this picture that I created a "mounting" square for the chocolate eggs and bunny, here's what it looked like before I folded it to fit in the box: I cut a 2 1/2" square, and scored at a 1/4 on all sides, then cut 2 circles with the 3/4" punch and used the smallest layering oval framelit - the intention wasn't to make a face, but it did put a smil...
