Stampers Showcase Blog Hop **OCCASIONS CATALOGUE **

Welcome to this months Stampers Showcase, it's all about the Occasions Catalogue - there are many, many gorgeous items it the catalogue, something is bound to take your eye. Today's creation is a bit "bitter sweet" for me, I fell in love with the Parisian Blossoms suite when I saw it, and not because of the flowers (and they are "my thing"), no it was the Eiffel Tower.  Long story short, my husband & I never had our honeymoon - purely due to circumstances just before and after our wedding. Anyway late last year we decided that we would do a special holiday in 2020 - 8 weeks  in Europe infact! We had planned to be in France on my Birthday and Paris on our anniversary. It is a few months away, but as we can't even leave our state, let alone Australia currently, a lot will need to change in the world before we can leave our shores, and I'm not sure it will happen before our flight is due to depart, my fingers are crossed (legs, an

Best Dressed for Mother's Day

Easter has been and gone, and what a strange Easter it was with social distancing, in Australia Mother's Day will be upon us soon, and again it will be very different for many of us as we will not be able to be face to face with our Mothers. So with that in mind I thought I would get some mojo happening for Mother's Day creations so they can be put in the post in time for this special day. I've added detail to the edge of the card with an edge die from the Be Mine Dies - it is one of my "go to' dies, I love the combination of scallops and stitching.  The sentiment was proving a problem for me, it wasn't huge, but I wanted it to be a focus, so I got out my Stitched Labels dies and had a bit of a play, and after adding a little detail to the Blushing Bride die cut was happy with the result. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month.  I’ve listed the products I use

Meant to Be with Dandelion Wishes

It's the start of another ISO week, so let's kick it of with something bright and cheery - Happy Monday! I was planning to do a quick and simple card, but then I blended the 2018 - 2020 In Colors on my sentiment and I "had to" then do it on the hearts!!! These colours are retiring shortly, so be sure to s tock up on   all things 2018-2020 In Colors   while you can, re-inkers, paper, ribbons - if previous years are anything to go to stocks won't last long after the retiring list is announced. A Little Note with Best Dressed

It will soon be the time of year when we say goodbye to some old In Colors and hello to 5 new colours! Today I'm creating with one of the 2018-2020 In Colors that will be retiring soon - Lovely Lipstick, of the 5 in the 2018-2020 collection this would be my favourite.... no surprise there as it is a lovely gorgeous pink variation. I've paired the Lovely Lipstick card stock with the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper, and it just pops! After white heat embossing the sentiment on a strip of card, I added Frost White Shimmer Paint to the Delicate Lace border and to some of the flowers in the DSP too.
