Butterfly Beauty meets Dandelion Wishes

Welcome to the last Crazy Crafters Blog Hop for 2018 - where has the year gone!  Today we have the pleasure of casing the lovely Meg Loven from, you may be familiar with her blog LovenStamps Our task as always is to find inspiration from one of our special guests creations and CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit), I chose the below creation from Meg: Here's my creation: I drew inspiration from the detailed die cuts, embossing and circular sentiment. This is my first play with the Butterfly Beauty Thinlet Dies (available from 3rd January in the 2019 Occasions catalogue), and I'm a fan, they are gorgeous, and layer beautifully... and I do love layers! I trimmed down the die cuts and only used 3 of the butterflies instead of all 5, here's a quick clip of how I created this project Get comfortable and work your way through the list below to see all the amazing creations  inspired by Meg, I can't wait to see what the rest of the team

#simplestamping with Beauty Abounds

During OnStage, a new fun social media campaign called #simplestamping was announced. The campaign will focus on simple projects to show that a card doesn't have to be complicated, it's all about showing that card making can be as easy—and fun—as you crate! Perfect for all, from new crafters,  right through to avid. My project today uses 3 stamps from the Beauty Abounds stamp set - the beautiful flourish, and 2 of the sentiments - "thanks" for the card, and "for you" on the matching envelope. I really enjoyed stripping my thinking "back to basics", and this doesn't mean that you can't dress things up, the I also stamped the mini envelope using the same gorgeous flourish and with the "for you" sentiment. I will admit I was tempted to add a little bling, hahaha, I do love my bling, but I held firm and fought the temptation, here's a quick clip of my creation: Stamp sets & Framelits: Be

How to make a hand crafted Christmas Bell Ornament

Do you ever see something and just have to give it a go? Well, that happened for me yesterday when I saw a Facebook post from  Céline Sérougne   in the Demonstrator Planning Place that had a tutorial link to some amazing paper craft Christmas Ornaments made by Janas Paperdreams , so much so that I just had to give these a try, and here is what I created. How awesome are these, and it only takes a 10 cm (or 4 inch) square piece of Designer Series Paper or card stock to create your own. You could make your ornament any size, as long as you use a start with a perfect square, the other item I noted is that it's a good idea to have an embellishment that has some weight, this helps your ornament to hang nicely on the tree. I've used the Joyous Noel Suite for the above creation, Snowflakes & Stars Wire Embellishments look lovely combined with the Merry Merlot & Copper ribbon with Joyous Noel Specialty DSP. For this one I stamped Pool Party Car
