Petal Palette with a Raised Frame - a Video Tutorial

Hello, welcome to this months video tutorials, our theme "All About Flowers" I changed my mind so many times about what project to create, and still made changes whilst I was filming, oh my, my Libran indecisiveness was in full swing! The tutorial will show you how to create a project with a raised frame, and one of my favourite ways to decorate a card with a raised frame is, you guessed it, flowers! You can choose any floral stamp set you have to create a card with a raised frame, I chose Petal Palette as it has coordinating Framelits (so no fussy cutting), and a variety of different size flowers and foliage. I was feeling a bit nostalgic, so decided to create a "grubby background" for texture, the large water  wash stamp in Love What You Do was perfect! and I added some pearls for a small touch of bling. Here's the tutorial to have you making a card like this in no time at all, enjoy! I can't wait to see what

Top 10 International Highlights | Happiness Surrounds

Firstly a big thank you to everyone that voted for my card in the October International Highlights - I was in the Top 10, so I'm back with another "sorry" themed card in today's blog hop. As we know all too well, there just are times that we say or do something wrong and then need to apologise or we are sad for someone and want to let them know. A card is the  perfect way to do so and has so much power to heal.  Today's creation uses the new Happiness Surrounds stamp set, it's part of the Snowflake Showcase limited time promotion. This set has a variety of sentiments and images, you can even create your own background - I sponged Powder Pink and a hint of Calypso Coral, being a photopolmyer set it is quite simple to line up the images, and wa-lah, you have your background. The coordinating framelits are just gorgeous, a mix of shapes to cut solid images, and intricate dies that layer superbly. For the rustic feel, rough up the

Fun Fold with Seasonal Chums #WWYS 192

I'm back with the Team at What Will You Stamp? and this week we are show casing the super cute  Seasonal Chums Stamp set The Seasonal Tags Framelits coordinate with this stamp, which means No Fussy Cutting! For today's card I decided on a fun fold to create a scene featuring the snowman. I used Stampin' Blends to colour the snowman, and noticed his twiggy arms, and that gave me idea of adding die cut trees! The trees are from the In the Woods framelits, and there is also a super cool curved framelit, just perfect for creating rolling snowy hills.  To give the frosty snow touch feel just add Frost White Shimmer Paint, as little or alot as you like. Head over and check out the projects with this set from the Design Team, we would love you to participate in our weekly challenges at  What Will You Stamp?  why not play along with this week - We'd love to see what you create!    Stamp sets & Framelits: Seasonal Chums , Seasonal Tags
