Hello there Full of Love

Hello there crafters, today I have a cute card using the Full of  Love Stamp Set and the Awash in Beauty DSP . I chose a piece of DSP that wasn't too busy, after using one of the  one of the squares in Stylish Shapes to cut the stamped image I used Calypso Coral and Olive Green in the colouring of the stamped image to bring in colours from the DSP.  I added a frame of Light Balmy Blue around the image before Old Olive mat. The sentiment is white heat embossed, it really pops off the Calypso Coral banner. For a touch of bling I added some Basic Rhinestone Jewels to finish the card. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. Stay tuned for more inspiration and tips this month. I’ve listed the products I used below, just click on the picture and be taken directly to the product.  I truly appreciate your support, it inspires me to keep crafting and helps to keep my blog and YouTube channel running. Hello There with Awash in Beauty

Hello there, just a quick card today.  I 've used one of my favourite DSP's - Awash in Beauty. This paper is just gorgeous, and does all the work for you, well most of it :). After cutting the feature pannel of DSP, all that was left to do was add a sentiment - how easy is that! I added a sentiment from Full of Love, adding a second banner of Mossy Meadow under the stamped banner, and added a touch of bling with Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish. Awash in Beauty Note Cards

Hello there crafters, today I have a cute set of note cards using the   Awash in Beauty DSP and  Full of  Love Stamp Set for the sentiments. Using a piece of A4 cardstock I created 3 notecards measuring 9.9 cm x 19.8 cm. I then cut an arrangement of flowers using a square Stylish Shapes from the Awash in Beauty DSP , then chose a mat that coordinated with the image. Stamping 3 different sentiments in Mossy Meadow. I also cut a mat of Basic White DSP for each note card. I started with a basic note card. adding a Merry Merlot mat to the die cut DSP, then adhered the Basic White mat to the note card then added the DSP mat to the note card using dimensionals. For the second card I embossed the Basic White note card with  Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder , adding a Mossy Meadow mat to the die cut DSP and mounted with dimensionals. For the last note card I used the  Stitched Greenery Die to emboss the Basic White Mat, added a Calypso Coral Mat to the DSP, the mounted with Dimensionals. Than

Abigail Rose Suite with the All Star Tutorial Team

Hello crafters, a new month, means a new All Star Tutorial. This month we are showcasing the  Abigail Rose suite  from the July-Dec 2022 Mini Catalogue. The All Star Tutorial Design Team not only design a Tutorial Project that’s exclusive but we also each design an additional project to share here for further inspiration. I've used the Cottage Rose bundle for the flowers on my card today, with Abigail Rose DSP for the background. I used blending brushes to apply Petal Pink and Old Olive to the stamped images before die cutting them. I added some Highlights with Stampin Blends in the middle of the flowers and edges of the leaves. I used the edge die from Penned Flowers dies for the scalloped edge, and Lovely Labels Pick a Punch for the sentiment, finishing with some Linen Thread and Champagne Rhinestones . Abigail Rose Inspiration Below is a sneak peek of what’s in store with this month’s Tutorial Bundle. You’ll see my teaser in the bottom left of the image.  There is more insp

Color Fusers Blog Hop September 2022

Hello crafty friends, it's time this month's Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month, our colors include Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss & Pale Papaya - such a gorgeous collection! I've used the Rays of Light background stamp, for the focus image of the card.  I used the Stamparatus to apply the ink to the background stamp - I used a dauber, applying one colour at a time, and restamping if I wanted a deeper colour.  For some bling I added Gilded Leafing , using Multi Purpose adhesive, waiting til it was tacky then added the Leaf. I like gold with purple tones, and he gold embossed sentiment from Color & Contour sentiment fits perfectly with colour and the feel of the card. I love the visual effect of sun peeking through clouds, so I die cut the sentiment layer using a Basic Border die for this effect. Be sure to continue on through the rest of the Color Fusers Blog Hop by clicking the button below for lots more inspiration using this month’s colors. Next up is

Rectangle Hues of Happiness

Howdy crafty friends, todays blog hop is featuring "Stand alone Dies". I know that I love when a stamp set has coordinating dies, but we also need dies for basic shapes, and to honest at times these dies are the heroes of our projects - my "go-to" die sets for are the Stitched Rectangle Dies & Stylish Shapes Dies, today I chose to highlight the  Stitched Rectangle Dies . I selected the 2 dies that are the same width, and cut into a piece of Hues of Happiness DSP . These dies look fabulous on this sheet of DSP, there is a linen look texture through the design, reminding me of oil paintings. I also cut a matching set in Night of Navy and adhered to the DSP die cuts. Next I stamped my card mat using the largest flower from the Happiness Abounds stamp set with VersaMark ink - this gives a lovely effect that breaks up the background, yet doesn't over power or clash with the DSP. After adhering the Die cuts and card mat to the card I finished by stamping the sent
