Hello crafty friends, today card is for Kylie Bertucci's  International Highlights , our  Theme: Thank you.  A little kindness can truly brighten someone's day, and what better way than to send a  card. I had so much fun with the Snail Mail Suite yesterday I couldn't put it down, and created a second card which will be just perfect to brighten someone's day: This suite is so super sweet, the level of cuteness is so high on my scale I just had to have it! How different does it look when pastels are used in comparison the the bright colours in the Designer Series paper, like wow! I added texture with a mini embossing folder to the Soft Sea Foam, and after colouring with Light Stampin' Blends in Flirty Flamingo, Soft Sea Foam & Gray Granite added a little bling with Pastel Pearls and a Twine bow. I started today's creation with #simple Stamping in mind, but me being me I did step up the finished card with some embellishments - you have to have just a little bling right? I saw a gorgeous card by Franka at ScrapGöre  that I just had to CASE, that's where I started, but I chose pastels with a pink theme. Light Flirty Flamingo, Soft Sea Spray and Gray Granite. I die cut my image 1) I have the die cuts, 2) when using blends the colour tends to come through on the back of the card - I prefer this not so show, but you could just as easily stamp the image directly to the card base and if using watercolour pencils wouldn't have the colour coming through on the inside of the card. Without thinking I added the twine bow! So what was supposed to be just a stamped image and sentiment for #simplestamping was already on it's way to more. Hello, today I have some Snailed It creation for you, no DSP this time, all stamped and coloured. This suite is so super cute, I just can't help myself.  I used Stampin' Blends to colour the stamped images, and the Be Mine Dies for the scalloped heart and card edging. Lastly I added the the bow, and I was finished. A perfect card for Valentines Day or Anniversary don't you think? Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. I did it again....another piece of the super cute Snail Mail DSP has been chopped with lots of love, I can't get enough of this suite. This card is made just using DSP and Cardstock - no stamping.  I use the die cut in the bundle to cut the sentiment from the DSP, and cut the toadstools from the DSP too (I'm lucky to have an electronic cutter, but you could also fussy cut too). I didn't add any bling, but have added interest by layering the toadstools with a mixture of Dimensionals and Glue Dots to give different heights so the card isn't just flat.
