Ink It! Stamp it! Favourite retiring bundle | Magical Day

Hello everyone! I'm back today with the monthly Ink it! Stamp it! Design Team blog  Our theme this month is our "favourite retiring bundle" and I can' wait to see what the rest of the team has to share with us. It's a bitter sweet project for me today, as I absolutely adore the Magical Day Bundle and are sooooo sad to see it go - my daughter has already told me I must keep it for her and it's not to go in my retired for sale box, and how cute is this, she has drawn up a number of designs for herself to create with this bundle as I was making this project! The Magical Day stamp set bundles with the coordinating Magical Mates Framelit dies , and when purchased as a bundle you save 10% . Today I'm featuring a rainbow Unicorn I decided that as I'm saying goodbye to this bundle, I may as well also feature retiring colours in my watercolour rainbow: Rose Red Peekaboo Peach Daffodil Delight (not retiring, all the yellows ar...

Magical Day with Brusho

After catching up with friends for brunch today, I had some "quiet time" and decided to break out the Brusho powder for a play. I must admit, the "randomness" that comes with Brusho does play on me, but there is also the wonder of Brusho! What do I mean by this, well, as soon as I saw this background I thought of Dumbledore (possibly because I have been watching all the movies with my daughter), and thus my card was created: Sadly the Magical Day Stamp set and coordinating Magical Mates Framelits are retiring, so if you simply must have this set the time is NOW  - only available while stocks last or til 31st May - you can still purchase both items as a bundle and SAVE 10% too. Got some items on your wish list, or just need to stock up? Click below to see if any of your favourite products are retiring - get them now, or you may miss out!  Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.  I would love to update you when I cr...

Magical Day goes Ombre

Hello there, welcome back - I've been a bit under the weather the past week and haven't had any crafting mojo, but after more than a full day in bed I'm a bit brighter today and decided to get inky - and the best thing that I find to do when inspiration is eluding me is to surf some challenge blogs, and that's just what I did, and when I saw the Colour INKspiration challenge I had a plan! Here's what I was inspired to create using the new Magical Day bundle featured on page 37 of the Occasions catalogue My daughters favourite colour is green, so as you can image she thinks this is just "epic".  I created the ombre strip on Shimmery white cardstock using a foam brayer. Next I stamped my little mermaid and coloured her with Bermuda Bay light and dark Blends (I so do love these!). I added some extra Wink of Stella, after all a mermaid should have lots of shimmer lol! I applied Versa mark and used sponge daubers to apply Emerald...
