My CASE is inspired by the the below card: I was drawn to the layout of this card, I have edited the sizing of the layers to create fine lines, and instead of using DSP have embossed my background and stamped the adorable bear using the soon to be released Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set in the BRAND NEW  Holiday Catalogue I reversed the embossed image from the Happy Heart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder  to create my background, and the sentiment is from Suite Sayings  stamp set.   I would love it if you could pin my cards! I've made a mini card with Botanical Blooms today to incorporate into my Project Life layout. The idea for this came about when I saw the Global Design CASE the designer challenge this week, as t he design reminded me of my wedding, Pink (no surprises there) and Silver were my theme colours for our Garden Wedding.   I embossed the sentiment from Suite Sayings  in Silver, and then die cut and stamped/aqua painted/sponged flowers in Blushing Bride and leaves from the  Botanical Blooms Bundle  to create my arrangement. I swapped Mint Macaron for Wild Wasabi so as to better blend with the photo layout. A touch of Wink of Stella, and I was done. Peek-a-boo something new with Friends & Flowers, this set is just so cute!   I've combined 2 challenges this weekend for this card, the sketch by Teneale Williams from Global Design for the card layout:  and the colour inspiration from Fab Friday: The pod baby is from Friends & Flowers  set and paired with Suite Sayings  it makes a perfect welcome for a new baby.    I used the Squares Collection Framelits Dies  to cut the scalloped trim, love how this turned out! I must remember that the largest of these framelits has the scalloped trim, it just adds that something extra. I've used an Aqua Painter  to add some shading to the pod leaves, and can you see the  added sparkle from Wink of Stella ?  I've used lots of layers on this card, if you include all of the pod leaves there are 13, with Dimensionals and glue dots galore! Why did I wait til now to purchase Botanical Blooms, it is amazing!     Oh my, Melon Mambo with a hint of Pink Pirouette on Whisper White, I am in love!  These flowers remind my of the Lily's I had on my wedding day, that gave me my inspiration for my sentiment from the Suite Sayings  set.   The Botanical Blooms Bundle  is just fabulous, not only do you get several flower and leaf stamps and thinlets in the bundle you also have this great border/edging thinlet - I have so many things I want to try with this set! I used a sponge dauber with Pink Pirouette, then sponged with Melon Mambo to give it a little more intensity in the centre of the flower, the I used an aqua painter to create the veins from the centre of the flower, I really like this effect, here is a close up: Thanks for visiting today, I would love to update you when I create a post!
