Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop. This month we will be sharing projects using some of our favourite Techniques. The full line up below will guide you through all the projects and we'd love to hear from you on what your favourite technique is?  Today I am showing what I call the "Ombre Stamping Technique", it's how I create these lovely images stamping these flowers, and I adore the effect this technique creates! The materials for this technique are: Ink pads, I've used Powder Pink, Fresh Fig and Elegant Eggplant Sponge Daubers - use a separate one for each ink pad cardstock, whisper white, very vanilla or a very light or pastel colour and of course your stamp! Now for the process: Select the lighted colour first, ink up your dauber, and apply to the centre of the flower on your stamp use the next darkest colour, ink up your dauber, and apply to the stamp, being careful to leave some of the middle (lightest ink) untouched ink up...

I was out of Copper Foil, so improvised and used Copper Embossing powder on the Cake Stand die cuts, they turned out amazing, and I love how you can manipulate the Copper Trim - so easy to get your bow perfect (and I can be a little bow challenged at times). I love the Stitched Shapes framelits , and how they coordinate with the scalloped ovals in the Layering Ovals set, this was the starting point for my design, then I added the flowers and die cuts from Sweet Soiree, with a touch of Wink of Stella for shimmer, then mounting on the reverse embossed pattern from the Petal Burst embossing folder .
