Hello and welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop featuring Special Guest Brian King.  Brian has been and will continue to be an inspiration to me - He is so vibrant, full of energy which show through in projects, I just love his work.  After watching his YouTube projects I now hear his cheery  voice as I read through all of his wonderful project details, tip and hints on his blog.     Deciding what wonderful project to case was a challenge in itself, as so many of Brians projects appeal to me, one thing that stands out and gets my attention immediately is how Brian uses border repetition to create layers - I just adore them!  I also love how he incorporates DSP into his projects - something I should use more, Stamping Up DSP is just so pretty, I always look at it and are afraid to cut! I just love the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper, it is simply gorgeous!   Today I have created this card for Challenge #27 at Stamp Ink Paper The sentiment is from Tin of Cards, and Butterfly Basics provided the lovely pop up element on the card, the Banners were so easy using the Triple Banner Punch    I hope you have enjoyed my project; I would love to update you when I create a post! Back to work after holidays this week - I have been exhausted,I can't believe that it is almost a week since I have posted!  Definitely time for some crafting this weekend, I've turned to the Global Design Project team to get me started, here is my card: This weeks challenge was provided by this sketch, be sure to check out the Design Teams take on the sketch, just click on the image: I found it hard to get going after having a bit of a break, but after a bit of pondering I decided to go with Pretty Petals DSP, then spent some more time deciding which of the lovely designs to use - I went with something a bit different for me (not pink). Old Olive and Pacific Point on Very Vanilla, it is a lovely combination - I scored the Pacific Point card stock to match the design in the DSP and added some little gems to give it something a little more. Freshly Made Sketches has a wonderful challenge this week - the layout can make for a quick and simple card in no time with the use of co-ordinating DSP:   Kim from the "Clean Team" put together a simple colour-blocked type sketch, its perfect for patterned papers, or as you can see from the design team there are lots of other choices on how you could complete the sketch - just click on the sketch below to see I decided that I would use the lovely "Pretty Petals" Designer Series Paper, and was able to use one of my favourite colours in the process, what do you think? Calypso Coral is so bright and cheerful, and I love the combination with Olive Green and Very Vanilla; the best thing about the SU range is that the DSP co-ordinates perfectly with cardstock and inks.
